A 4 seed that won on the road in a regional and then went on the road to win a super regional. No shame in their game. They should be proud of what all they have done this year.
re: Almost 1 year since Texas and OU joined the SEC. Thoughts?

Still...don't like TX in it. Why? Just don't like them - so any monetary, prestige, and/or recruiting advantages gained by being in the SEC I don't want them to have. Period.

...thanks for playing TN, we have some lovely departing gifts for you as you travel back home. Safe travels, and don't forget to tip your waitress!

As much as I dislike TX...cause I do...growing up with my SWC blood flowing through me never went away when Hogs joined the SEC and has always been there and flows again now that TX has been in the SEC...I will say that it is a tough pill to take when your baseball team is highly rated and expected to make a run in the WS in Omaha only to watch a North Carolina State take away any hope from you. So, congrats on a SEC championship first year in the conference. No doubt TX $$$ will buy you players.

Well...it ain't cricket! Bahahaha!
I find myself sort of meh when they monkey around the rules in basketball or football (pro football kickoff blows!) - but if they mess with baseball I am spun up - pitching clock, possible robot umps, etc...mainly as a purist there is just something sacred about baseball. Although I grew up when there was loyalty both ways and you had Brooks Robinson spend his whole life as an Oriole whereas today he would have been on 4 different teams in his career. Its history, pagaentry, strategy, simplicity and nothing amps it up more than a close race to the end of the season.

I don't post often but have been around for a bit. To read what posters think about their teams and to laugh at posters who give as good as they get.
But - love all the dog piles on A&M's program - they are hilarious - almost as funny as the aggies who defend said program.

re: Name a QB your team had on a bad team that would've thrived in better circumstances

Joe Ferguson. Loved the guy, wanted to be him - but the team wasn't that good around him. He had some great games and put up some good numbers - and if the team was better would have continued the success the Hogs had through the 60s into the early 70s.

re: Robots calling balls/strikes

Sanitizing the game with robots takes the human element out of the game and bastardizes America's Past Time to 9 innings of Alexa. Just because you bitch about a strike here and there is no reason to redo the game. The pitch clock already is an egregious affront to the game as it is. Dumbest argument for it ever.

Please, God no, don't let that happen. This ain't "Jetson's Baseball" - keep the human element. Lord knows The Hogs have been scroogied many times by refs/umps AND reviews...but MLB is unbearable to watch.

Better record than Chad.

This free agency has ruined CF! Despite free room and board, tutors, swag, meal card, and an opportunity to get a free education - they feel the need to be greedy and grab more $$$$.

Well dang...knew it would be a hard task for the Lady'hawks, they gave a good run at it. Clark is a phenomenal player would have liked to seen her win it.
re: Is Saban correct about NIL ruining college athletics as we know it?

Yes.
Free room and board with an opportunity to get an education - all for playing a game. NIL has ruined it for sure.

Don't know so much about that. LSU is tough at home. Does puzzle me though using their ACE against Tulane - makes no sense to me.

Did LSU not come out for the National Anthem? Don't care for that at all.
