Lamb did not play a single game in the SEC
At wideout, Jefferson, Chase, Cooper, Smith are in their own league. Jameson Williams is up there but no ring
Bowers is the obvious choice at TE
RB, loads of options, but Henry and Fournette had the 2 biggest individual seasons of anyone in recent years by a pretty wide margin
Tebow / Newton / Burrow at QB

You have to include McFadden in the running back conversation. If that asshat Spurrier hadn’t been so petty and left him off his heisman ballot for running for over 300 yards against his cocks Tebow wouldn’t have won.

Burrow wasn’t arse his first year. As for one and done Cam Newton, we will never know.

To be fair.
He played UGA in 2017. 6 for 66. 1 passing TD.
Bama in 2018. 8 for 109 1 TD.
LSU in 2019. Jefferson had 14 for 227 4 TD.

Them boys were great WRs, but if you think Bowers isn't the best TE, you never saw him play.

QB: Tebow
Anybody arguing otherwise is kidding themselves. Tebow was larger than life in cfb. Close second is probably Manziel.
RB: Derrick Henry
WR: Jefferson & Chase
TE: Bowers
Defense: Honey Badger

OBJ is one of the most iconic (and I hate that word) football players of the century, but that’s counting NFL. Burrow deserves to be up there, obviously. And a tight end is a skill position, so Bowers.

RB = Darren McFadden

Hurts at QB. I thought we just had this discussion.

Henry is amazing in the NFL and blossomed into an awesome back while at Bama. However, McFadden was snubbed for the Heisman twice but won the Doak Walker and his trademark flex is and was bar none the best in the last 20 years. Additionally, McFadden played on Arkansas with Houston Nutt coaching and recruiting… I don’t think I need to go further on that one in comparison to who Henry was coached by and playing with.

20 years is a long time…not many singular faces can describe the SEC rosters over that timeframe. We aren’t the Big 12

Ok, LSU fans, I’ll bump Julio down and add Chase. Honestly forgot about him.
We don’t care. It’s your list. Put whoever you want on it. My list would also contain mostly players for the team I root for.

f it weren’t for Bama he’d be the face of college football in all of history.
Is it a requirement of Bama fans to be homers?
Seems like it.

Yea man, Julio Jones wasn’t even a first team All-American but he belongs on your shitty list over Ja’Marr Chase who was first team All-American and won the Biletnikoff. Piping hot take
ETA: taking LSU players out of it, Donta Hightower doesn’t belong in the same sentence as Von Miller and I hate A&M. You’re a moron
Yeah jefferson absolutely belongs on this list. SEC has put out some amazing WRs over the last 20 years. It's pretty staggering.
That being said Jefferson is top 2-3 for sure.

WR - Mike Evans - tied with Jerry Rice for 11 consecutive years with 1,000+ yds.
