If lsu wins Tonight against south Carolina they maaaayy be ranked come monday or whenever the polls are released.
If lsu beats alabama too and when's again on Saturday they will for sure be ranked..beating bama will be tough. Lsu has been playing incredibly well lately

Hey, whoever said LSU was the best team.....
Gtfo.
Y’all losing to a South Carolina team without it’s head coach who has only played 5 games because we’ve been eaten alive by Kung flu
On your home court which is even worse. Have you had a lead the whole game?

Yes

Tennessee.
BAMA will not survive an average night shooting the ball. They need to shoot consistently at a high rate to win. Tennessee is a more complete and more versatile and more talented team.

We're the #15 defensive efficiency team in the country

Nope, not really. Hell, we've shot pretty well but not lights out yet in conference play - and we've only had one game that was a one possession game late. Tennessee was basically a double digit lead the whole 2nd half. The rest were blowouts.
Dunno if we're the best team but we're not some one trick pony whose had a hot....month or something I guess.

We’re top 20 in both offensive and defensive efficiency.

Is that why Bama slapped the Vols around in their own arena?

I think Tennessee is the best team. The H2H argument can be made for Bama and Bama is a very good team without a doubt. But I think the fact that Alabama is shooting 40% in league play from 3 and opponents are shooting 25% from 3 is creating outcomes that are maybe clouding people’s judgements a little bit.
I would expect both of those numbers to even out over the next month and a half.
Tennessee certainly needs to clean things up a little bit offensively and figure out their identity and how the 2 freshmen can continue to carve out larger roles as their minutes increase but they are the best or second best defensive team in the country and solid offensively with a lot of room to grow as they are essentially overhauling how they’re playing as they move Keon and JJJ to the 4 and make Fulky and Pons the only bigs in the rotation.
KenPom says Tennessee is about 3.3 points better than Alabama in a 70 possession game and Torvik says they are about 2.5 points better.
The game they played was not as close as the score suggested but Tennessee shot 19% from 3 and Alabama shot 50% from 3 and Tennessee was without arguably their best player in Springer for the last 35 minutes of the game.

Imo theres only four good teams and then Kentucky who will get better.
Its Tennessee
Alabama
Lsu
Missouri
I have no idea why mizzou is ranked and lsu isnt
Beat some better out of conference teams!
Also last year why was LSU in football ranked in the top 10 to start the season and ended non ranked?

This year doesn't count.

I will wait til the regular season is over to answer that.

Well, Bama only attempted 20 threes in that game, which is way below their average. Why? Because UT thought they'd have a better chance if they forced them to drive. Which Bama did. With ease.

Right now it's clearly Alabama but they don't hand out trophies in January for a reason

Bama shot 38% from 2 in that game which is their lowest mark of the season.

Bama beat you on your home floor by double digits. And will likely beat you again.
Posted on 1/16/21 at 11:31 pm to antibarner
Without Jaden Springer and Pons in foul trouble. If they played again it would be good game.
Posted on 1/16/21 at 11:31 pm to antibarner
Not sure why we are acting like home floor means anything this year, though.

They won’t play again unless they happen to add a game due to needing to make up for cancelled games. There won’t be an SEC tournament this year.
