You need better material than this. If Auburn’s players didn’t care about the matchup, why should I?

So they cared more about the Birmingham Bowl than the Peach Bowl or Sugar Bowl?
Makes sense.

Your reasoning skills are shite.

I truly get sick of hearing about LSU nonsense both pro and con, but the Georgia bullshite has gotten to a ridiculous level on this site. frick Georgia and whoever they consider their rival.

1. Gtech
2. Florida
3. Auburn/Tennessee
4. SCarolina (Clemson would be in this spot if we played them regularly)

Georgia has benefited from beating horrible Auburn teams recently.
How were 06,07,14,16,and 17 horrible?

Themselves?
Granted MR got blamed for not taking them to the promised land but I wonder if somewhere in the deep mind they don't shoot themselves in the foot. Sorta like the UK streak to UF that should have ended many times yet continues.

For one, I didn’t say we were horrible in all of our seasons that we lost. Two, how many other recent games did you leave off the list?
Auburn was not a horrible team in 2014, but there was nothing special about it either as we still lost five games and were deflated by the ATM loss. Auburn was horrible in 2016 thanks to our qb being hurt. Duh.
Similarly, we were pretty weak in 2015, 2012, 2011, and 2008.

Truth talk here:
UGA has had its best run against AU over the last 12 years. They have dominated the series but it drives them crazy that during this time of domination that AU has 3 SECC, 1 NC, 1 runner-up and another undefeated season which people seem to remember more so than the 9-3 record in favor of UGA. Add Cam and Farely and that pissed them off too.
AU fans got a mini dose of that seem feeling with what happened this year. AU dominates the DSOR and it's UGA that maximizes their season not AU.

So it looks like uga is on a 10-3 run not because of auburn being horrible.

Then y'all have been pretty horrible for quite awhile because we have won 12 of the last 17 games.
quote:So you just want to ignore the wins Auburn had against bad Georgia teams?
And that’s the only reason why Georgia has a slim lead.

Why are thUGA fans still butthurt that Auburn fans didn’t root for Georgia in tbe NC?
I'm not. Just amused, really. Why have both Auburn National Championships been followed by sanctions and investigations?

Auburn made that decision for a political reason.
Well, there are always excuses. Political, though? that's a new one.
quote:And you know how many times Georgia has been named National Champions? According to the NCAA site Auburn has 5 and Georgia has 6. Do you really want to start claiming National Titles that your own school doesn't claim?
We know the facts are simple in 1983, 1993, 2004 and 2010 we were selected National Champions in some capacity.
You guys are an odd bunch. You want to claim titles when you were on probation and when you didn't even play in the title game.
At least you get a 10 for being creative, I guess.

If you ask anyone in the Magill Society or blue blood fans of the program, the answer is GA Tech. Jim Donnan had trouble with Tech, and got ran out of town. Richt owned Tech. Kirby has created such a gap in talent between our schools, we fully expect to continue the dominance.
For guys like me (late 30’s and early 40’s), the answer is Florida. Prior to the old ball coach, UGA owned the cocktail party, but Spurrier has our number, so many of us began hating Florida. Florida kept us out of Atlanta many years. We had trouble with Meyers as well. Thank god for Boom! For some reason, I just don’t see the passion towards Florida any more. I suspect Mullen will get Florida back to the Dawg fight it should be.
Auburn- It used to be a friendly rivalry. Vince Dooley went to Auburn. Pat Dye went to UGA. Fans were pretty friendly to each for the most part. Many people that live in Columbus, LaGrange, and Atlanta we to Auburn. But this rivalry has taken a wicked turn lately. I actually think it is because of Nick Saban. Auburn is envious of Saban’s success, so they want to exhibit some sort of superiority complex over UGA. We are never going through take any crap from that school because they aren’t in no way superior to UGA. Most DAWG fans I know hate Auburn nowadays. My best friend is an Auburn alumni, and we have gotten to the point that we rarely talk football.

Your two best teams during the Saban era both lost to bammer. What other team have you had during that time that would have beaten them? Oh yeah, none
So Auburn's greatness is now determined by Georgia's record against Alabama?
We will ignore head to head and just compare who has a better record against Alabama?
You are proving that Alabama is better than Georgia, not that Auburn is better than Georgia!
Newsflash...Alabama is better than Auburn, too.
