Are those the only years Auburn hasn't been on NCAA probation?

Um, Auburn hasn't been on probation for almost 25 years. Sorry to ruin your narrative.

UGA needs to beat Bama in an actual MEANINGFUL game on occasion before you might want to consider broaching the topic of whose "Daddy" Bama is in the future.

Why? We don't play them enough for them to be our daddy. Auburn plays them every year, though and is supposedly your #1 rival, in spite of the fact that Auburn has 2 National Titles and Alabama has 17.

Ah! the old "We didn't want to be there!" argument. Where did they want to be, then? the National Championship game? Those spots were taken.

So Auburn's greatness is now determined by Georgia's record against Alabama?

And apparently UGA’s greatness is because they almost held onto a lead against Bama.

They also beat up on some weak Auburn teams recently.

If you can't get your players motivated to play an undefeated team, that's a coaching problem

The most important win will always be Florida. The most important loss will always be Georgia Tech.

I haven’t read the whole thread, but this is the answer

Quiz time: Who choked in the SECCG in 2018?
Your team didn't want to be in the bowl game they were given and that's why they lost that one. They lost in the SECCG because, well, injuries. They lost to Clemson because, well, Kam Pettway was injured. You lost to LSU because Gus took his foot off the gas pedal.

I say Auburn should be crowned National Champions and given a 15-0 record, because, well they have excuses why they lost 4 games!

No. becuaes of these:
Wins all time
Higher win % all time
More bowl games
More bowl wins
More SEC titles
More consensus All-Americans
More first round NFL draft picks
More NFL Draft picks
More weeks in the AP Poll
More weeks at #1 in the AP Poll

Can't wait on Auburn to have good teams. That might never happen.

Actually, I understand jangalang's argument. And we have all used that excuse. But ultimately, yes. It is the coaches job to get his team motivated and ready.

ETA
I would also add that every single team that plays football has lost games they should have won. It happens. Sometimes it is because the team was unmotivated. Sometimes because they took their opponent lightly. Sometimes because the other team just had an unusually good game and your team had an off day.

Beginning to think you are a bama troll. The only thing I know about you is you post this shite every chance you get. You clearly care more about Bama than UGA.

Unrelated, but why is it Bama is the only school that gets to claim fake national championships? Is it because they were the first to fudge the numbers? Auburn, UGA, UT should claim as many as they think they should and then print the shirts and hang the banners. I've got 7 for AU

GT is not a rival. They’re like playing App State. My excitement level is 0 when we play them.

This would suck. LIttle joy in winning but you are expected to win every year.
