Loads of folks were predicting a top 10 year for A&M? Well, that’s not true. The consensus was 7-3 was our ceiling.

Tends to be what happens to mid level teams when you don’t get to play Vandy and South Carolina.

There won't be any agreement on this topic. Everybody hates everyone else.

Did the board think LSU would be generationally bad before the season though

Who knows but i thought they lost way,wat too much to be a top 10 team.'19 was a lighting in a bottle season and I posted as much this summer and predictably pummeled by the LSU nation on here.

Easy to say that now but I’d need to see your preseason rankings first.

I dont sit down and make one like I used to do in 8th grade.Where's yours?

I'll give Jimbo credit for Monds improvement (about tine ) and his offense this year but it is Monds 4th year with LOADS of snaps under his belt and its Jimbo's 3rd year

Don’t you post the preseason prediction thread or am I thinking of the wrong guy?

I thought they’d be 3rd or 4th in the West honestly. I’m not a big Jimbo fan and thought they’d find some way to go 8-4 and 4-4 in conference. The job he’s done this year has impressed me but admittedly my bar for him was pretty low compared to Mullen.

People are looking at the eye test and the other games scores that were not impressive.

He took a broken Florida program, dominated a rival that was vastly more talented than his own and has beaten every single team since then by more than 14 points. He's had the second string in almost every single game since then, whereas Texas A&M struggled to put away a very depleted LSU team and very nearly lost to a winless Vanderbilt.

You guys really want to make it all about one game on a last second field goal at home rather than look at the season as a whole. We had a bad game, you guys took advantage of it, that's it.

We're playing better football right now, period.

Well as far as Vanderbilt goes that was early in the season. In the early season Florida lost to aTm. Florida got better and aTm got better as the season progressed. It happens. Now you get to play Bama. My gut tells me Florida loses. But good luck anyway. You lose and you will be on the outside looking in. But at least you'll be #5, #6 or #7 or whatever.

I wonder if Mullen is still mad about the noise that like 40,000 people made at Kyle Field

Same for Missouri. Tennessee quarterback was light out against Missouri in the second game of the season.

Yeah, like A&M didn't win the West.

And they won't next year.

Or the year after that.

You'll be sitting at home while we won our division, and we dropped an early game to A&M by a last second field goal.

You guys did really well one game of the season, the rest has been very "meh" while Florida continues to dominate their season.

That's why the CFP takes the entire year into account and not just one game.

Currently it's Jimbo and Saban in that order.

Drink has your attention because he has done more with less. If we beat UGA (I doubt it), State and win a bowl...he should be in heavy contention at 8-3 after being picked to win maybe 2. That's a first year HC with no spring ball and only say 20 fall practices playing in the covid world with a total P5 schedule.

Saban could destroy everybody and win it, and might.

Titboss got 'em off life support into ICU...sloooooow clap for arky.

It’s gonna be the Mizzou coach. He’s done a really good job.

It’s a shame that Saban wins so consistently that he doesn’t get the same consideration for the award. At least he doesn’t care much about personal awards for himself.
