OU has everyone rested and their ace hasn’t pitched in a week

They have the deeper staff so I think they win close but take the first two

Hope OM wins, but got to go with OU because they are rested.

I'll root for the damn Rebs, not because I like them (I don't), but because I am sympathetic to underdogs. However, I believe OU wins for the same reasons you suggested.

Also, frick Tennessee.

Both teams have been on an impressive run to end the regular season all the way to this point. Tough call, but I’m going OU. The extra rest is the advantage.

I’ll pull for Ole Miss but OU is hot and rested. Not a good combination for a squad that just burned their ace.

I think it's going to be a good series. Ole Miss is playing lights out and honestly I think all the pressure is on the Rebs to win.

OU has been ignored and overlooked the entire postseason so I'm sure they have a chip on their shoulder. Plus their pitching will start out in better shape.

Ole Miss caught a break today with Delucia going the distance so that should help with their bullpen.

I'm going to pull for Ole Miss, but won't be surprised if OU wins it.

Congrats to both teams for getting there.

Does Oklahoma have pitchers that can pitch that slider?

I heard they had good pitching but that the main 3 were righties with mainly power pitching. Maybe they can overpower the Rebs but I don’t know, Ole Miss hitters love the fastball.

It’s possible they have one on the team with a mean slider. I honestly don’t know.

I hate Ole Miss, but I'll root for them, especially with them being led by Bianco who missed out on a ring with that '89 55-17 LSU team that got eliminated in the semi's of the CWS that year...

No idea what Skip's game plan will be Saturday, but usually they try and get ahead of the count with early fastballs and then finish with breaking balls/sliders/etc. It's worked well with their starters so far, going back to the FL regional.

I’m gonna place a decent size bet on om so I can genuinely be happy when they win it all.

“Well rested” is not really important in this circumstance. These are mostly guys who are either teenagers or not too long separated from those years. They recover amazingly fast. I just can’t see rest as an advantage for OU.

Still have to go with OM.

It is for the pitchers, but at least Ole Miss didn’t have to go to the bullpen today.

First guy you will see Saturday is Jake Bennett. A big lefty that throws a lot of fastballs and a really good change up. Sunday will be Cade Horton. Really good fastball, slider, and cutter. David Sandlin is the #3. Good fastball, slider, and curve ball. He just sent the aggies home with 12 punch outs in 7 innings.
