Right now Bob looks better as bad as he was. Not that I really would want either one of them.

Grubb can go… and I mean go now.
I’ll do it for 1/2 the money and guarantee you I wouldn’t run a fricking empty set on 3rd & 2 at the goal with motion.

Give me Dave Rader. Major Applewhite. A pile of dog shite. I’ll take it all over Grubb’s dumb arse.

I’ve held out hope for Grubb but I’m getting to the point where he’s too cute for his own good.

I’d take Mike Shula, a drunken Sark, or hell why not give a former DC a shot at scheming up some plays, can’t be any worse or dumber than what Grubb is doing

100% he will. Year 3… and we look undisciplined and no fire.

We had a better offense with BO’B and Nussmeier

Why are we running HUNH in the 4th with a 14 point lead?

BoB’s problem was being very inconsistent

Grubb seems gets too cute with his playcalling far too often

BoB was very consistent.
1st Down: Swing pass behind the LOS for a loss.
2nd Down: Run up the middle into the teeth of the D for little to no gain.
3rd Down: Pray Bryce works some 3rd and long wizardry.

Rinse. Repeat.

Grubb is absolutely frustrating when he's trying to show everyone he's the smartest guy out there..but comparing him to Dave Rader/Mike Shula is beyond laughable. We scored 80 total points vs 5 SEC teams/Texas Tech after the Florida win in 2005. 8. 0. points. And 14 of those were from defensive touchdowns.

I'll say this forever. Grubb is exactly the kind of OC he wants. Deboer will be the downfall of Deboer. He is not a great coach and the Alabama job is too big for him.

BOB looks better?

Bill O'Brien had a first round QB, WRs and RB and we were basically playing motionless backyard football.

Grubb's main issue is he kills rhythm and momentum because he goes away from the run and when he does call RPO's his QBs are mainly in situations where they pass.

The fan that they let call the first drive of the Akron game would give Grubb a run for his money

Grubb would have been another bad hire by Saban I guess too bc he wanted him badly . People think he is a good OC or he wouldn’t have been hired in the NFL but I am not a fan of the RPO , throw it two yards to a receiver on the sideline BS we saw yesterday

i think, having watched grubb now, the main reason he didnt accept sabans job offer is he knew saban would actively correct his stupid crappy calls in real time. i think deboer just lets grubb do as he pleases, regardless of how many drive killer playcalls he puts out there.

i remember how people spoke of mike leach being a genius, i think he actually had a genius level iq. i also think grubb has a weird innate desire to be referred to as some sort of genius oc. therefore his crazy playcalls arent him trying to be "cute", it's him feeding his desire to be the "genius oc". this may be a strange view, but seriously, it has to be something other than him just being criminally dumb at some random point in most series. smh...
