The Vols are fricked. Nobody worth a shite will want to come there for any amount of money for a long time after this social media lynching. The fans are very mistaken if they think the coaching community sides with them.

I think UT should pick up the phone and call Tommy Tuberville.

Why did they ever think Schiano was a good idea?

Tee Martin makes sense at this point. Or bring Fulmer in for a year and let things settle down.

Greg Schiano would have been a good hire. The allegations against him are tissue paper thin at best.

But, Tennessee is a top tier SEC East team in the super weak division. Florida is in shambles and Georgia has prospered in their absence. This is a high potential school with lowered expectations that will pay very well. They can make a great hire.

Any coach that allows the Schiano reneging to influence them as anything other than an opportunity is a moron.

Isn't Tuberville trying to be a AD?

Haslam. He tried to push Schiano to the Browns and failed.

They’ll be fine. Their biggest problem is TAMU opened up.

Bobby Petrino doesn't have any credibility. AND he's inexplicably on Clay Travis' short list.

Just a thought, since Travis is running the show now.

This may be the best route for the Vols right now. Les is obviously the best stabilizing force through all this, but I'm not sure Les would take it. Personally, I lay the blame on Currie. I don't blame the Vol fans for what they did, I wouldn't want that guy near my school regardless.

Biggest problem for TAMU is UT reopened.

UT traditional top 3 east power- aTm is traditionally 4 in west.
UT is in easy east- aTm has to face AU, Bama, LSU.
UT has lower expectations (more leeway to build)- aTm still has high expectations and less patience after 6 years of Sumlin.

TAMU recruiting is inherently difficult. They are still the Longhorns bitches, plus they have multiple in state competition, plus Oklahoma, LSU, and to a lesser degree Arkansas raid Texas talent regularly.

UT plays Bama, Florida, and UGA every year, hardly much different.

"Traditional power", how long are we going to keep this farce up? UT hasn't won the conference in 20 years.
