By that, I mean the freshman who comes out of nowhere to immense stardom in the SEC.

The clear favorite is Robert Nkemdiche so he doesn't apply.

For A&M, my pick would be either Isaiah Golden or Justin Manning. Real dark horse would be Alex Sezer.

Edit: thanks for the clarification

Honestly RSJ or Treadwell

I would've said Henry but he might take some time to get to game speed

If he blows up its not coming out of nowhere. He was the #1 recruit in the nation.

I don't think he will be the best freshman receiver we have this year, mainly because he's even bigger (6'7) than he was when he signed (6'5) and he has to improve his route running.

I'd put Ed Pope (RS-FR), Sebastian Larue (FR), Jeremy Tabuyo (FR), and Kyrion Parker (FR) above him right now.

Darius Paige. Wasn't highly rated recruit, but homie is gone be a monster. I think he will be better than Robinson.

Still, Nkemdiche isn't going to "come out of nowhere" dude. #1 recruit in the nation doesnt come out of nowhere.

More likely to be a RS frosh than a true. Someone who has a year of system and weight room under their belts.

Neither are true freshmen Quantavious Leslie or Travin Dural are my guesses for LSU. They both give LSU the biggest thing it needed in its offense last year, a big target/vertical threat. Both above 6'3" and can fly.

It is unlikely any freshman has Manziel-type impact. That is why he was such a big deal.

As far as Nkemdiche, you can't come any more from nowhere than playing HS FB last year. True freshman are not supposed to be superstars, so if he were to lead the conference in tackles for loss it would be pretty impactful.

It is more likely that he rotates in on the OM line and is not among the nation's leaders in any category.

My official answer is - none of the above. If you said a Gurley, Yeldon, Amari Cooper kind of impact, if could give you 12-15 names. I see no one worth mentioning among the nation's elite - a Heisman contender - as a freshman.

Jennings ran a 4.62 shuttle dude, he's too friggin slow to not win with his arm, and he ain't got no cannon. Manziel ran a 3.98 shuttle if you must know, the combine record is 3.73.

Eddie Williams is going to be one of the best receivers in the SEC this year. Letting him sit last year was good for him and now with Cooper on one side Williams is going to blow up on the other.
