Herschel rushed for far more yards in 3 seasons than Bo did in 4.
Herschel never lost an SEC game.
If Bo never got hurt the discussion may be different, but susceptibility to injury is a major part of football. Fair or unfair the answer is Herschel and it’s not that close.

Are you talking about the single season rushing record ?
Walker has more career yards. Henry had the benefit of playing on the most talented team. Herschel was the team. Herschel was better than Henry.
Yeah, the record that didn't get broke for over 30 years.
Walker played on a team that won the national championship. Where do you get this idea that he didn't have good players around him? They were in the hunt every year. A decent amount of them ended up drafted, especially from the O-Line.
If anything, Henry suffered due to the NFL talent at his position in front of him. Otherwise he would have have way more career yards. Go talk to Oklahoma fans about Henry as a freshman, they'll all say they are happy Alabama quit running him in that game.
But this has basically been the narrative for Henry's entire career. He crushed the Florida rushing records in highschool. People like you made the same claims you do now, saying he would never have big success in college.
Goes to college, wins a Heisman and breaks Walkers SEC rushing record that had stood for more than 30 years. And people like you just claim that he only had success due to the team around him, he would never have that kind of success in the NFL.
And then last year in the NFL he literally carries his team to the division championship.
If you can't recognize how great of a player he is at this point, then you're just in denial.

Henry had tremendous athletes around him. Bo and Herschel did not.
They literally built teams around the running backs in those days.

UGA was in the hunt for the national title in ‘83, so obviously they had players other than Herschel. They probably win it in ‘83 with Herschel.

The SEC wasn't what it is today back then.

Both Bo and Herschel were once-in-a-lifetime athletes. There is no wrong choice there and there is no one else who compares to these two.

Yes, please tell me more about "once-in-a-lifetime" players who...played at the same damn time.

Herschel could still play. Plus, I like his honesty.
