I don't even know what this means. I respect the victor and cheer for other SEC teams. I've spent time at most other schools' stadiums and enjoyed the fans at each. I don't "hate" anyone....certainly not just because they are good in a sport. Aren't they SUPPOSED to strive for that?

If I were an Auburn fan I'd lean towards whoever Alabama was playing due to recruiting in Alabama. But then when you fill in that blank and it's ND, I'd most likely pull for 'Bama as an Auburn fan. Similar to Texas vs. USC - I have a lifelong disgust with Texas but pulled for them against USC. USC and ND take players from your backyard no matter where you live.
LSU fans rooting against Alabama makes no sense at all to me, not that they're well known for making sense. Is this still hurt feelings over Saban? I don't get it.

We should want the SEC team to win their bowl game regardless of which team or bowl.

I wouldn't expect any LSU fan to pull for Bama. If it wasn't for Bama, LSU would have had a NC last year. This year, y'all had the game won until Bama took it in the last minute. I wouldn't expect LSU fans to pull for Bama any more than I would expect Jan Brady to pull for Marcia.

ND. I don't hate Bama and went for them in 2009, but the sport needs some parity. 3 out of 4 is just too much, especially when they'll be really good next year too.
