Ture.....a state full of new money and inflated egos with one goal in life and that is to overcome debilitating self doubt. They ate one another alive.

Exactly! At the end of the day, that core group is going to stick together too… The SEC as a whole have always done a really good job of doing what is best for all members.

Texas has always been the biggest and most important program within their own conference. Sure they lost games to OU and aren’t as historically successful as OU… but they cast the biggest shadow in the room .

That’s no longer going to be the case! They already whining about Vandy getting equal money..

Now I know we all like to joke about Vandy.. but at the end of the day they are a founding member and an important part of the history and future of this conference.

I said all this to really say..

Chip Brown is not affiliated with Texas. He’s an a-hole on a message board.

No doubt, I don’t buy any of the Texas coming in and changing things or influencing things bullshite.

The Big 6 would never let it happen.

Ever.

A&M I think. They have better lines. They just need some luck, like another Johnny. A&M is one good QB away from a very good year.

So many folks passed through Vanderbilt as coaches and adninistrators. Folks forget this.

I think Kramer did time in Nashville before heading up the SEC
Newton went through Nashville on his way to NCAA committee

Others but those two stand out in my mind right now

We'll all be long dead by the time this happens, so even if folks bookmark responses they'll never be vindicated in time to bump

This is no longer a conference.

It’s a semi-pro league. Your conference mind set will hold you back.

This is now the South Eastern Football league.

We already have a commissioner, equal revenue sharing and tv deals. Now all we need is a salary cap.

Texas went to the wrong conference where Arkansas went and got the best conference while Texas struggled in the Big 12 and so did OU.
