Will likely change a tiny bit with DeBoer expediting the fall. I know UT and Bama have a long standing rivalry and it won’t change as drastically as LSU but Bama won’t be in my top 5 hated teams by November.
It will be super weird to feel sorry for Bama this year and I’m trying hard to fight it.

My older sibling was a scholarship athlete at a sec east school so i could root for them but I don’t cuz having a “second” favorite team is gay af. My second favorite team is whichever team helps my team by winning, and of course whoever our rival is playing.

I actually grew up wanting to shoot free throws like Kyle Macy.

Wipe hands on socks, hell yeah. Who didn’t want to be like Kyle Macy?
I had that part down...it was the actual making of the free throw that eluded me.

Thanks to tRant, Tennessee is my favorite SEC team. Second favorite: South Carolina. I live in SC now, and their fan base is second to none in supporting their teams. Respect.

Likely future SEC member school Texas Tech.

I don't cheer from UT. But I descended paternally from Tennesseeans. GGG-Grandfather was from TN. I still have family there. Still doesn't make me like the Vawls though. But I am proud of my Tennesse lineage. The two most alike states in the USA are KY and TN imo.

UF
I have always loved Spurrier, wrote a paper about how he was my favorite coach in 3rd grade (2000), so I was really happy when he showed up in Columbia. My GF is a gator alum, so it's been fun pulling for them when we watch together.
I am always 100% Gamecock, but if I had to pull for another SEC team it would be UF.
also they just smacked CLemson in a super, so that was a lot of fun

mine is missouri. everything about that school is just so awesome and cool
I went to Columbia this year to watch LSU play baseball there. High school ball field mostly. Not sure your comment helps any Texas credibility.

It would be hard to feel sorry for a team that will make the playoffs and work over LSU yet again.

Macy was wipe hands on socks...three quick bounces with the basketball, deep drop...hold, shoot, swish. His Senior season, he shot over 91% from the free throw line.

OU- I have family in Ok than are big Sooner fans
MSU- other than the cowbells I have nothing against them, and the nicest fans in the SEC.

Mississippi State. Spent my first 9 years of life in Madison and born to two state fans. Out of state tuition is atrocious so I went to Bama instead of state.

OU and TX need not respond. We already know you love each other

Saban retired, 4th choice took over, and Bama has a slightly better version of Jordan Jefferson.
