If these are the rosters for a hypothetical all-time SEC tournament, I don't see a team yet that can deal with Shaq unless the plan is to double him and leave Pete and/or CJ open, which would be a bad plan.

But....let's see what Kentucky can throw out there. Bowie, Delk, Towns, Walker, Mashburn, Issel, Davis, etc etc. They'd be legit.

Jared Harper

Isaac Okoro
Jabari Smith
Walker Kessler

That would probably be the bench behind Barkley, the Person Brothers, J. Broome, Chris Porter and a PG I can't decide on.

Shaq is one of the all time greats...

but he was 1-3 in the SEC Tournament.

Shaq was dealt with for 3 years, as LSU never made it out of the first weekend for his career.

Which of Jabari Smith or Walker Kessler do you have getting beat out by Broome?

Kentucky

PG John Wall
SG Tony Delk
SF Jamal Mashburn
PF Anthony Davis
C Dan Issel

Edit: Other CAYTS may feel differently but I feel like that's a pretty solid pickin' there

I'm not thinking any team in the conference is beating that starting 5 and that's not just me being a homer. It's like if you were to look at an all-time starting 22 for Pitt football with Marino, Tony Dorsett, Ditka, Rickey Jackson, Curtis Martin and Revis and think how tf have they wasted so much talent?

Is it based on their entire careers (NBA) or just what they did in college? That would change one or two of my picks I think.

Since we’d throw Nolan out as coach and run Hogball we don’t really just play five.

Guards:
Sidney Moncrief, Darius Acuff, Lee Mayberry, Todd Day, Ron Brewer, Alvin Robertson, Isaiah Joe, Maleek Thomas

Forwards:
Corliss Williamson, Bobby Portis, Joe Johnson, Scotty Thurman, Moses Moody, Jaylin Williams

Post:
Joe Klein, Oliver Miller

For the record…Klein did just fine against Shaq. LSU’s best couldn’t beat Arkansas second team.

White Chocolate
Bradley Beal
Mike Miller
Al Horford
Joakim Noah

Brewer close to taking Miller's spot mainly for defense. Would consider Clayton over beal for clutchness.

Willie Smith better than both. And John Brown is on that team.
