That's cool man, you guys have been leaps and bounds better the last ten years. You're our daddy. Feel better? I'm loving this hate right now.

I would guess Alabama but man, those two Gator snowflakes in here sure are salty. The OP must have struck a nerve with them. LOL!

The only thing that should even put UGA’s chances of not winning the East into question should be how the LSU & AU games turn out. Even then, the only way I see it mattering would be South Carolina or UF winning out in division (after losing to UGA) play and somehow managing to win both cross division games.

It would be a huge disappointment for them not to steamroll every team in that shite show of a division and go back to Atlanta.

Could go both ways. Alabama because they get Auburn in T-Town. UGA because the East is shite. Tough decision, but UGA has the easier path.

Past Alabama the same could be said about the West.

But I do agree. Never bet against Alabama while Saban is coaching.

Y'all listen to straws 'cause he knows what he is talking about. He's at the big boy table.

He said Georgia lost 17 starters in another thread, so we won't have anything coming back....or was it 18? i forget.

He doesn't like it when we frame the last 5-10 years. It's silly. because he wants to frame the last 20 years, because well...it fits his narrative better. Never mind the only players on either team have been there only 3-4 years. Never mind that all time Georgia has a better record. But he wants to frame the last 20. It makes more sense.

Seem to recall that the winner of the "shite show division" beat the winner of SECW last year.

Division will be improved next year...both UT,SC and especially UF will be better.

I think UT and UF will be better because you sorta wonder how could they not be. But as I've said, coaches, even good ones, tend to struggle somewhat in their first year at a new place. I can easily see UGA being 11-1, 12-0 and all the rest being 4-8 to 8-4.

UT had boatload of injuries and UF was down 19 scholarships last year...both will be improved just by having full rosters.

If UGA beats LSU and AU, this all but guarantees Bama winning the West

I’m not sure how that relates to this discussion. The OP asked who was more likely to win their division. Every team in that division save UGA is god awful. You could insert Alabama, OU, Ohio St, whoever in UGA’s place and overall the division would still be a shite show.

Yep. Georgia can still be an elite team with the East being very weak overall. Isn't that what we saw last year? If UGA was a pretender propped up by the division, I'm not sure what that says about all of college football as a whole. We beat no. 11, no. 10, and no. 3 and lost in OT by 3 to no. 1 in the championship.

So saying the East is weak does not mean that UGA is also.

Win a championship or go home, that's it. You guys want respect? Earn it. Shitting your pants in the big game up by two scores at half isn't the way to do it.

Georgia went 2 - 2 in the West, and only got fortunate for even that -- so when you're not even the best team in the conference and we have a daily thread talking about the next Nick Saban/Bama we all sort ofcollectively roll our eyes.

6 - 4 against Georgia in the last ten, 1 National Championship.

3 - 2 in the last five. What I don't like is framing ''this decade'' to make it 4 - 4 but omit those pesky national championships so Georgia can feel relevant.

Tennessee.
Auburn.
Florida.
Alabama.
LSU.

And just in case you guys don't get it: These are all teams that have won championships from the SEC since Georgia won their last one.

We're at the big boy table, and when you guys are ready to come on up, we'll be waiting.

I would rather have the season we had last year, than any you have had since 2009. We're just getting started. As Jim Donnan has said all year leading up to 2017 "If you're gonna get UGA, you better get 'em this year." Only the Alabama schools could do it.

Equal, since both are guaranteed to win their respective divisions.

Aren't you the guy that predicted Florida to run the table in 2017 after you beat Vanderbilt?

Alabama because they have been proven to be consistent with winning the division. Georgia has won once in the last 5 years and it was in a year where the other top programs in the east were down and ended up firing their coaching staff.
