Sorry I thought this thread was about 2018?

championship or go home, that's it. You guys want respect? Earn it. Shitting your pants in the big game up by two scores at half isn't the way to do it.

Uga earned the respect of nearly everyone by winning the sec title and rose bowl after destroying many teams that would have hung with uga or even beaten them in years past. The only hold outs are Delusional haters such as yourself, and there is no reason to wish for the respect of mental scrubs.

I actually enjoy your stupid takes trying to rationalize our surge upward like Chubb/Sony running the ball for 70% of our plays and uga losing 18 starters including 4/5 star dbs. Keep up the hilarity.

would rather have the season we had last year, than any you have had since 2009.

2010-2017? Uf has been pure trash in the post tebow years. So many losses.

And yet Georgia still doesn't have a winning record against us during that time.

- @ South Carolina week 2 will be tough
- @ Missouri could be tricky, or they could bulldoze them
- @ LSU will not be easy

Then, throw in Florida in Jax and Auburn and there are some potholes if things don't all come together.

Exactly my thinking. South Carolina week 2 is probably the most concerning, though with Hurst gone, I'm not sure how threatening their offense will be (though they should have Deebo back...

Mizzou is one that probably *shouldn't* be a problem... but it's early, it's on the road, and they managed to keep Lock. Would be a shocker to lose it, but it's certainly possible. Not sure how I'd feel about losing to Dooley as a first time OC. Let's not find out.

LSU: No clue what the hell to expect from them other than a fight with it being a road game for us. Fingers crossed it's the CBS game rather than a night game.

Florida: it's Florida, but that roster just doesn't scare me, they've lost so much on the defensive side of the ball over the last few seasons and I'm not sure they have a QB that will be ready in 2018 to give them the offensive juice they need. Wait and see for sure, but I think Mullen could be in serious trouble if he doesn't have a very solid QB in place by 2019 - whether that's a transfer or if EJ develops (seems small framed to be a Mullen QB - also a lot of mental development remains).

Auburn - Getting this one at home helps, very similar to you guys. I think they had enough losses from last year's team that it should be manageable. Curious to see how they address RB and OL for sure... They'll be fine in the front 7.

I could easily see a 10-2/11-1 regular season for us... no clue where the losses will come from for sure, but easily could see 2 of the above going the wrong way. Lose the wrong 2, and let an East team get hot and could easily miss out on Atlanta.

Part of the reason why we changed coaches a couple years ago.

Georgia has won once in the last 5 years and it was in a year where the other top programs in the east were down and ended up firing their coaching staff.

yeah. then went on to win the SEC, Rose Bowl and play for the National Championship. Very similar to what Florida did last couple of times they won the East. Oh. Wait.

4-4. That just goes to show the narrative of absolute Florida dominance is a bit overblown. I mean we can pick a particular time frame and show Florida dominance, just like we can pick a particular time frame and make it look like Georgia dominates the series.

It's overblown because for some retarded arse reason the media, fans, TV, internet, and everyone else picks 1990 as the starting point to mention records. As if spurrier against goff/donnan has any relevance to present day whatsoever.

Guarantee you, even after last year's arse blasting, the TV broadcast will show UF's record against us since 1990. It's absurd.

Sure makes them feel better, though. I m excited that Kirby can put the Smart/Muschamp/Malzahn comparisons to bed, though.
I'm glad to see Muschamp doing well at USCe, though. Maybe it was a Florida thing?

I'll say Alabama has a better chance. State might be their toughest game but it at home for them. 0 chance they lose iron bowl this year.

Georgia has early game against S Carolina and if mullen's offense is going in Florida who knows bout that game.

LSU could mess things up for someone just because of the magic that Death Valley brings.. Aubie comes to mind.

Georgia put themselves in the conversation with Bama. The Gators and the entire nation heard us loud and clear. And It looks like your head - like your team and fans - is still ringing from our little get together in Jax. Yea, GatorBait, we have tasted success and it tastes good and it's only gonna get better. As for that sour bitter taste you are experiencing better get use to it. It's not going away.
