we did play for the national championship in 2010 but since then? jack shite.
I'm not arguing we have massively underachieved. I'm just laughing at aggie and ark fans laughing and someone else that underachieved.

The cowboy persona is weak and the hats are the symbol of weakness in 2023. It's not about who has the most cattle or who can physically manhandle a steer anymore. The hat is a show piece....like a watch. Its supposed to be about managing land and using cattle as tool to manage the land, while making money.
I'll put two midwestern country boys up against any hat wearing texan anyday.

Has to be Texas but a heaping pile of Texas underachieving is due to the bloviated self opinion they hold as Texans than anything steeped in reality. What they have been of late is what they actually are...they obviously ain't lived up their own expectations but they are exactly what everyone outside of Baja Oklahoma know they are....

This is so odd. I keeping reading posts like this assuming we don't know we have done jack shite since 2010. We know..ok...we know. No one is disputing that. In fact, over the last 13 years I'd say we've underachieved more than any program in the country.
Can we now move past the assumption that we somehow don't realize this?
You do make a point...I shouldn't accuse aggie and pig of underachieving. You have to achieve before you can underachieve.

Are you having trouble keeping up? You are all over TAMU for not winning an SEC Championship since they got here in 2012. What have the shorthorns football program won since then? Isn't it true that BAMA broke you in 2009 and that is when your football program last won a Big 12 title?

Jesus Christ do they not teach reading comprehension in SEC territory? Where have I jumped on aggie for not winning an sec title since joining the sec? I was referring to arky and 33 years. Let me capitalize this since so many of you are having issues reading.

Aggy is the big mystery to me. They have an enormous lunatic fan base, tons of money, and are currently building probably what will be the finest football facilities in the country. Not to mention the other facilities for other sports are top of the line.
They are 60 miles from one of the most fertile recruiting hot spots in the country in Houston. They pull in top recruits and coaches every year. And yet they can't become a contender, at any sport really. With what they have going for them they should be dominating in all areas. And yet......meh.

We're proud to the point of arrogance at times. I definitely agree with this.
But 13 years of utter shite on the field has a way of humbling a program. Hopefully it's humbled the rich asshats who got us here.

You have a boatload of stupid shorthorn posters on this forum. I choose to address my comments to one and all. Just like you get to say to all hog fans it's hard to underachieve when you haven't achieved. Given the last time they ran you out of Fayetteville, seems very bold.
The shorthorns have made themselves complete azzs over here since the announcement to the SEC. They have done nothing, but run their mouth. The last any of them want is a real football conversation. If that's less than what you think you have coming from me, personally, the SEC rant is going to continue to hurt your feelings.
The only thing BAMA owes you is one good azz kicking and that's coming soon.
