Before the season, I predicted that Jefferson would be the 2nd best QB in the SEC behind Bennett. He's a bigger version of ol Richardson at UF, with better accuracy. If he can stay healthy, he could be a darkhorse. Since UGA doesn't play Arky this season, I'm rooting hard for you guys. The enemy of my enemy (Bama and Auburn) is my friend.

From one Dawg fan to another, look out for Stockton. An "inside operative" guy on a UGA forum I frequent, said he seen him up close running the scout team and he's the real deal. His very words were; "He's as fast as Bennett, but bigger and a stronger arm."

It seems the front runners are qbs on passing offenses who put up big numbers, we aren’t that so it will be difficult for KJ to get into the discussion.

But Enos may run an offense which can keep him healthy and with the tight ends being used more KJ could have a big season. Heisman winner? No.

What smells like "bull shite", that Rattler will be the best QB in the SEC?...I agree.

I'm not an expert on LSU's roster, but ol Nussmeier looks like a promising prospect. Any chance he unseats Daniels?

Not this season, but he's in the driver's seat for 2024 and 2025.

Ok, you'll have to forgive me, I'm not familiar with some of the forum lingo around here apparently, but I don't even know what you mean by 'alter', could you explain that to me?

In 2024, Walker White will begin a 45-0 winning for Auburn, it’s a done deal that he will get 3 Heisman’s.

Maybe more IF 12 team playoff requires one more game.

I’m stoked.

Yes

Why would you think that?

Because that's what you're doing.

Just because I made a prediction on Bama's QB for next season? And uh, just for the record, it doesn't really matter who they're QB is, they'll end up second (at best) to the big red Beast from the East.

Sure bud.

Dang man, I'm new to this forum, I wasn't trying to start trouble. Just started what I thought would be an interesting thread of conversation.
So...let's start over; Who do you think in the SEC could win the Heisman?

Whoever starts at QB at Bama would be my guess, whoever starts for UGA at QB would be the next best guess.

We already know it will be a QB on a really good team, so that cuts the list down to a handful of guys.

Brock bowers has been very good. But honestly do you see a tight end winning the heisman? If bowers puts up the stats to even be considered, chances are his qb will get more votes.

Bowers is without a doubt the best college TE in the nation.

And some argue that he may be the best to ever play the position at the college level because he is elite at all phases of the position. Monken pointed out that Bowers has the best catch radius that he has ever seen at the position.

But alas, Bowers only wins the Heisman if a handfull of the standout QBs have mediocre years.

Conner Weigman. Limited playing time last year, but threw for 900 yards with 8 TDs and 0 picks. He won't be in the conversation this year.
