I am going with Xzavier Dickson for Bama. Can play DE or OLB and must provide up field pressure/presence for us to establish the line of scrimmage and containment.

Our D-line has to be better than expected to achieve a winning season. JMO.

I think Bama needs the young cbs to step up. Bama always has a stout front seven. almost every bama loss ,since 2010, has been because of secondary issues.

Two ways to play pass D. You are correct but the answer is upfield play and noy downfield play.

-Mike Davis

-Shaq Roland and/or Shamier Jeffery to go along with Bruce Ellington at WR

-Linebackers.. must have someone step up, however I have confidence in the guys filling the new spots this year.

Mike Thornton in the middle of that D. He is over 50lbs lighter and 3 and 5 inches shorter than his predecessors. But he is strong as shite and can move. We were terrible against the run in several games the last 2 years with Geathers and Jenkins. Maybe with a real DT who can move we will be much inproved against the run.

2011
USCe-253
Vandy-200
Georgia Tech-253
LSU-207

2012
Tennessee-197
USCe-230
Georgia Southern-302
Georgia Tech-306
Alabama-350
Nebraska-239

Two big arse D Linemen over 350 lbs was nonexistent in those games.
