He's trending on Twitter because people are laughing at him.

Imagine having a head coach who's a punchline.

Imagine having a coach who is not man enough to ever admit another team beat his team in 13 years.

I'd like people to laugh at my coach, if it means I finish the college football season at 15-0 and donkey punched the frick out of every opponent we played in the season.

Coach O's message got picked up by one of the Knoxville TV station's newscasts last night. They cut after about six recommendations.

What really caught my attention was his voice. I know what he sounds like, but when you put his voice on TV where there is almost no difference between all of the male voices, you perk up to hear something different, but still understandable.

He got his message out and did some good as well.

And coach of the year, national champion, undefeated in the best season ever in college football, big pay raise. Some punchline, huh?

Sometimes one does oneself a favor and tries not to look so petty. Try it.

That’s usually how people become trending on twitter... think of the last time Saban was trending.

Hint: right after the Miss State game

Saban doesn’t trend anymore because he’s yesterday’s news

Imagine posting an insult but not revealing what college and coach you are a fan of.....
Imagine a 15-0, 40-9 National Championship-winning, National Coach-Of-The-Year-winning head coach of a major state university who is making a public service announcement to his entire country about a life-and-death virus.
Yeah....'laughing.'

I have YETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT to see ANY member of the media, interviewer, broadcaster, reporter, etc. utter the words
'can you repeat that Coach?'

The man has a deep gravely voice, but he is also very well-spoken if you have listened to his press conferences
(Masters degree, 40 years coaching experience).

I have also YET to figure out where this "accent" bullshite came from.
Bobby Hebert??????? Yes (and he's a radio talk show host who everyone can STILL understand.)

Coach O- no.

Jump in a wood-chipper...
