A few months ago people were discussing what school Jaken Hurts claimed for the Super Bowl. Jalen just received his Master’s Degree from The University of Oklahoma. Case closed.

what does this have to do with Bama's last natty being an asterisk season?

It almost said, Maryland. Jalen Hurts was deciding between Miami and Maryland going into his Senior year. When Jalen had decided on Maryland, due to his close relationship with Mike Locksley at BAMA, coach Saban intervened. Jalen Hurts came this close to being a B1G graduate.
It was actually Coach Saban and NOT Jalen Hurts who made this possible.

Jalen would have been successful in football and life no matter where he played.
He had a great upbringing and set of values instilled in him.
Proud he represents Alabama as well as OU and now Philly Nation. As much as I dislike the latter as a fan base, it has pretty much become a Bama-UGA all-star team.

Just because other teams quit that year?

Only in the minds of the simpletons.
All had equal factors and knowns going in. The rules were set and one team dominated, while playing all of its games.

Bo Pelini just called, he wants his job back. He claims 5-5 in 2020 never happened.

“what does this have to do with Bama's last natty being an asterisk season?”
Your school, as well as the others, voted to play that season.
Some of you idiots even believe Bama was playing sick players.
Just because your team sucked doesn’t mean it changes anything. You may have an imaginary asterisk by it but the CFP does not.

He played at Bama for 3 years. OU for 1. Won a Natty at Bama and pulled off an amazing comeback as 2nd stringer in the SECCG. Regardless of everything else he's a Bama legend in my book.
