When Tennessee and Auburn play... I just can't bring myself to hope for a winner. Either one.

So normally, I just pray that God will open up a huge crack in the ground, Old Testament style, and just swallow the stadium whole.

Hasn't happened yet, but I'm still praying.

Well Auburn rooted for them in the National Title game so there’s that.

I will root for ISIS if they are playing against Georgia. Get the frick over it.

Probably fluctuates like FSU/UG does for us. Objectively, the latter has always been our bigger rival outside of the 90s.

Tennessee is our traditional rival. For most of the existence of the SEC, and even before, Bama and UT were the two best programs. That, along with being border states, and people in Tennessee being ignorant hillbillies, led to the two teams being huge rivals. Obviously, they've fallen off and a lot of younger people don't get it, but traditionally, Tennessee is our biggest rival.

Auburn came along later. There was a forty year period when the two teams didn't even play each other. Obviously, that has changed, and the rivalry has been more heated than the UT one for a while.

But don't kid yourself. If Tennessee gets rolling again, the SECR may not be able to handle the hate that will be unleashed.

Historically, Auburn and Tennessee are more rivals than are Alabama, Auburn.

I don't believe any Bama fan who says Tennessee is their biggest rival. Every Bama fan I personally know says Auburn is their biggest rival

I've always hated Tennessee way more. But it's hard to maintain that when they've sucked for so long. The Fulmer thing Saturday helped stoke up some of that old hate though.

It's not irrelevant because I've never heard 1 single Bama fan say Tennessee is our biggest rival outside of this message board

One of the weirdest frickin things on this board.

"NOPE BAMMER I DON'T BELIEVE YOU HATE TENNESSEE"

Is everyone here 12? Did nobody live through the late 90s and early 2000s?

What you've heard is also fricking irrelevant. I don't know a lot of people that just walk around declaring which teams are their biggest rivals. I've explained the Bama/Tenn rivalry. If you're too dumb to understand it, I can't help you.

Fulmer literally didn't come to SEC Media Days because he didn't want to get served with a subpoena. That was 10 years ago.

You have no idea what you are talking about.
