Texas will ruin the league. After that Mizzou brings nothing to the league and Aggies are just annoying.

It was all of mistake. None of these teams ever won the SEC.

Honestly though, 1st round of expansion was needed for the title game. This was exciting.

2nd and 3rd round is just for $$$ and the avg SEC fan sees less games against traditional rivals.

Unfortunately that’s not the way Texas operates. They will start bullying their way behind the scenes to cause trouble in all areas to skew things their way. Look at posters on the rant now. They are not even part of the conference yet and they are already talking about how things should be run. Ask Arkansas, Nebraska, Baylor, Oklahoma State. Look up the history of the old Southwest conference, the Big 12.

Vandy was not added. They are a charter member of the SEC and deserve respect.

Adding Arkansas made sense. Great addition.

History will show every other addition from the former SWAC and Big 8 to be a mistake. A huge cultural and financial mistake.

Texas will be a colossal blunder. And A&M, Oklahoma, and even Missouri will support them every step of the way. Arkansas will be proudly obstinate in their opposition to all things "move this championship to Dallas, and that one to Houston" that Texas will propose, and the rest of the New West will support.

I'll call it - Texas will stay less than ten years. But they'll cause a hundred years worth of horse-shite while they're here. And when they leave, with Oklahoma and A&M in tow while Mizzou finally enters the Big 10 - we'll wave bye to them all, gladly, even with our pockets a little lighter.

Missouri, by far. A terrible fit in almost every way. Culturally, geographically, athletic prowess. Everything.

Mizzou did win multiple East Division titles, though. The only expansion team that has yet to go to Atlanta at least once is A&M.

TBH, I actually like Texas and Oklahoma being added, but really didn't care much for any of the previous expansion teams. Arkansas works, but I've never been a fan of playing them. South Carolina has mostly been a doormat except for a couple years under Spurrier, A&M is so culturally weird, and Mizzou really doesn't belong.

In my opinion, Mizzou and Nebraska never should have been separated. Kansas, Kansas St, Mizzou, and Nebraska really all need each other and are each made worse in one another's absence. Those cultural rivalries go back to the 1850's for good reason. The same goes for A&M and Texas. Those teams should always be a package deal.

This can also be said for A&Forfeit

Nothing about College Station can be accurately described as cesspool-like.
It’s almost too pristine.
If anything, its sterile aesthetic can come across as overly contemporary—in the vein of a suburb, rather than a historic college town.
