Schedule looks very favorable. The east side of the conference is not as strong as the west side. Arkansas and Auburn are going to be down i think. I see no one beating you guys if you continue to play defense like you did towards the end of the season. And with Fabio gone I think that is a win.

But yes, 2019....but let's face it, it has been pretty close since 2017. It's not like the east has been getting blown out consistently.

Number of East wins in the past 12 years: 1
Number of East losses within 1 score: 3

this sissy stuff getting reintroduced just reminds me why college football never gets it right.

It’s about money. That’s quite obvious. More cupcakes equal more money and equal more eligible teams thus equaling more money.

Yeah, they might end up better. The Dline should be legit. And that QB will be a great one.

Clemson I think for sure beats uga, auburn and Florida will have a good shot too, then, whoever y'all may play in the sec title game should y'all make it has a really good chance at beating y'all. I see 10-2 there with clemson being a sure loss and one of auburn and Florida beating y'all. Jmho.

Georgia should definitely be counting games as sure wins. Not like they lost to a horrible, 3-9 team recently

4-8, but I agree, the most embarrassing loss of Kirby Smart's HC tenure. You simply can't lose to a terrible program like SC.

UGA only has to beat Clemson to be undefeated going into the SEC championship game.

And yet here was my offending post:When was the last time the west wrecked an east team in the SECCG? I forget. I was responding to the poster who said:IS this the annual "volunteer to get wrecked by the West rep" thread?
Oh, look! That was you who said that.

quote:

Number of East losses within 1 score: 3

And those were recent, were they not? Are we talking about the league from 12 years ago, or should we discuss recent? You know, I was saying the east has done well recently, but apparently "recently" means a time when the players now were in elementary school to you.

quote:

Number of East losses by 3 or more scores: 7
Again....recent. Like the last 3-4. Do those now. I think you will find that most have been competitive. But go ahead and pick time frames that suit you. In your mind results from 12 years ago are indicators of how close the games have been lately.

Maybe we should talk about how Alabama football is garbage because a long time ago they got beat regularly.

The DLine should have been legit this year. It was good, but definitely not what was expected. I mean, we could blame a host of reasons, not the least the lack of spring practice, and other odd things going on. But everybody played under the same conditions.

He will. Their Oline had better be greatly improved. if they play the same way they did against Ohio State they could be in big trouble.

That said, I don't think we or anybody else should expect Clemson to fold up and be a bad team. They will be very good, and we will have a huge question mark in our secondary. Should be an interesting game that could go either way.

Crap dude. People love to bring up that Boise game, but seem to forget they FINISHED the season ranked #8 in the nation and we were #19. It's not like we were beaten by an inferior team. I mean, where did Tennessee finish when they beat Auburn a couple of years ago?

Teams get beaten all the time by inferior teams but that was not one of those times. By naming that game you only show your lack of football knowledge.

This time last year, Uga fans told us all that Jamie Newman was gonna win the Heisman.
