Except for the fact that when you play that team in conference, them winning or losing against other non conference power five teams will have an impact on how your team will look vs said conference team.

I almost always root for the SEC team over other conferences simply because every win is good for my team. Not wanting to jack up your teams SoS is idiotic.

I'll root for UF every game this yr but the one in Baton Rouge. Haven't liked the Canes since the Jimmy Johnson days, thugs & fellons. Geaux Gators. Gators 27 Canes 13 book it.

I'd hate to concede a talking point to the ACC so I guess Gators.
But I'd like it to be really unconvincing and potentially embarrassing.. like the Gators pull out the 3-2 victory a last second field goal where the kicker shits himself with explosive diarrhea as the ball splits the uprights before he runs over to give Dan Mullen a runny hug.
