Can I expand it to 4?
Missouri
ARKANSAS
USC
TAMU
in that order. Go back to tradition and go back to 10 teams.

I actually like having aTm in the fold. Mizzou on the other hand, I wonder if we can talk the B1G into taking them?
I definitely don't want OKST, Texas Tech, Kansas, Miami, NCST or UL in the league.
I'd actually love to see Texas and/or Oklahoma in the SEC. I know they don't offer much (although OU does offer the smaller OK markets). But they would have to agree to play by our rules. I'd also be ok with FSU & Clemson even though they don't add new markets. But we will get stuck with some combination of UNC, NCST, Duke, VT, or UVA. I'm OK with UNC, UVA, VT, and maybe Duke. But I don't want NCST.

Agreed, and I think it should also be pointed out that this is your first post I've seen in a long time not designed to rile somebody up for no reason. Well done

I know BB fans would like to see NC & Duke. NC I can see, but Duke - that just makes no sense to me. I'm not sure what others have against VT. Of the candidates mentioned they'd be my first choice. But I'm also not sure why so many see 16 as inevitable.

I actually wouldn't mind OU.
But Texas, frick Texas.

I think most feel that UNC and VT won't be coming together. It'll either be UNC & Duke, or VT & NCST. In that scenario, I'd go with UNC & Duke. Now UNC and UVA would be the sure fire first choice, but I don't see UVA wanting to come.

Dook sucks.
Anybody not in Virgina or North Carolina sucks. After that, this is my pecking order:
1. North Carolina -- way too many fans to ignore
2. Virginia Tech -- hell, they fit right in NOW
3. Virginia -- too much history and notoriety to ignore, but they have GOT to step up the commitment to athletics.
4. NC State -- They are only #4 because they are not nearly the national brand as NC, and could easily be #3 with their better commitment to athletics.

Honestly, any more private schools.
We already have our one and only one is needed to shield inter-conference communication from FOIA.
