How in the world did Orgeron get the LSU job after what a disaster he was at Ole Miss?

Mack Brown has to be up there.
Went 158-48 at Texas. Had 9 straight 10 win seasons at one point. In his 15 years, only once did he win less than 8 games.

Not fired but I don’t see anyone mentioning Pete Carroll or Jim Tressel.
I wonder how different CFB would be if these guys were still coaching at USC and OSU. Leads to me wondering where Urban would’ve ended up instead of OSU if Tressel was still there.

I still say Auburn should have never fired Tubs when they did.
He would not make changes to his staff. I am as big a Tub fan as there is, but it was time for us to move in a different direction.
Yeah, we didnt have any choice. We were getting killed in recruiting, excitement and enthusiasm was comparatively low in the program, saban was building toward the 1st natty at bama, etc.
We had to make some significant changes and tubs time had run its course.
Ftr, I did not want him gone at the time, but in hindsight it needed to happen.

With that being said, although I think Richt's firing was stupid, that was possibly the worst 10-3 season to ever occur. I think I read somewhere that UGA was the first SEC team to ever finished unranked after winning 10 or more games.
They played two teams with a pulse (Alabama, Florida) that season and got hammered by both of them. They also lost to Tennessee. The home loss to Alabama was so egregiously bad and it showed that the Richt era was stuck in neutral. Georgia needed a change and so did Richt.

Played for Kentucky. I think you're talking about Eric Crouch, who is the single fastest white dude I've ever seen.

Nolan Richardson.
I know you said CFB, but I had to put him out there.
Still pissed about it.
