I am surprised UGA folks are not more angry with Brandon Spikes. An eye gouge is much more serious than a bloody chin.
Again, Nick was dirty in that game, no excuses, but can you show another instance where Nick was trying to injure a player?

I can only imagine you felt like this was a dirty hit, too?

Definitely a late hit and a very stupid play. Didn't destroy a guy's knee and his chances to play on Sunday, and Murray wasn't standing there watching the play end 10-15 yeards downfield.

You dawgies may get over Fairly one day, or not.

Hines Ward is trash and his dirty play continued in the NFL.

So its down to Fairley and Ward.

Fairley has been named a lot more than Hines Ward.

The Fairley crowd has one game against UGA with a late hit on the QB.
Ylou just going to ignore when he split Murry's chin open by dragging his chinstrap buckle across his chin while pinning him to the ground? Not to mention all of the other fans saying he did dirty things to their teams?

quote:

blew out his knee and he was never the same afterwards.
He must have been some superstar before, then, because he still signed with an NFL team and played Arena football.

Give the single game dirtiest player award to Fairley and give the career dirtiest to Ward.
Whatever makes you sleep better at night.

Old school ranters will remember when that happened and the MSU fans kept posting pics of DD with little kids like that excused what he did

I suspect more have had potential careers ended with a knee injury then were able to get past them.

And yet Auburn fans are all certain that he was NFL material. You know what? He was signed to an NFL team.

No, not at all. I thought it was way over the top and I have never denied it. I can admit Fairley was wrong but can you defend Ward? You are not addressing his actions.

Can you show another time Fairley was dirty? Serious question.

Mentioning Foster or Turner in the same breath as these other guys only shows LSU fan bias, butt hurt, and mental retardation.

And even if Brumbaugh was not permanently injured and could not make the NFL, that still doesn't excuse Ward for going after his knee (which crack back blocks not illegal at the time but still does not excuse Ward for going after knees which he continued to do in the NFL).

Foster and Turner blew up Fournette and JD5... that's the only reason they are on the list.

Now being purely objective, Turner has had a few plays that looked pretty rough. I don't believe they were intentional, like many of Nick Fairly's clearly were, but they looked bad.

I mean, we have videos of Fairley. If you show me a video of Hines Ward being dirty in college i might can. But I am not going to go by one fan base talking about one hit in one game. I mean, I gave you a video of Fairley taking three cheap shots at Murray in one game and numerous other fan bases have said similar things.

Show me a video of Ward being dirty and then I will call it.

Haven't really looked for it. I'll see if i can find something, though. But three shots in one game against one player? That's pretty conclusive.
