Todd Pinkston - Forest HS - WR at USM and Philly

Deuce - Morton HS - NFL All-Pro. Saw him and Pinkston play in bitter rivalry between Forest and Morton.

Robert MF Gillespie - RB - Hattiesburg High- RB/Slot at UF, Washington Redskins. I was in 5th grade watching this guy and he was unbelievable.

Eddie Strong - LB - South Panola - OM LB - Nasty

Neal Hall - QB - Hattiesburg High - Played wideout at NAIA Belhaven but in HS dude ran the option as well as any other qb I've ever seen. Was also a very efficient passer, led HHS to 97 state title but unfortunately collided with Eddie Strong and USP.

Jerious Norwood - Brandon HS - RB - This guy was on another level. Could and would take over a game.

It was funny because he had turrets (or something like that) and he wouldn't look down the court. Always looked to the sidelines. But he could drain them from anywhere on the court.

The only two I've witnessed playing in HS worth note were Trent Richardson and Tim Tebow.

I've saw Rondell Mealey, Joe McKnight, Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, Michael Clayton in person. I would put Joe Harris (Independence High School 1993) above all of those. I'm not sure why he never made it to college, but he was the most dominating HS football player I saw in person.

Joe Harris was one of the best I've seen as well. He suffered a serious injury against Cecilia in the semifinals during his senior season. It was either a broken leg or an acl tear. Regardless, he didn't play again after that. It's a shame, because he was a great one.
The best I've seen has to be Kevin Faulk in HS. To be as dominant as he was when everyone knew he was running the ball is remarkable.

Football: Darian Stewart(played for South Carolina). Baseball: Craig Kimbrel(plays for the Braves). Both are cool, but Craig can be a douche occasionally. I missed out on seeing Amobi Okoye by a year or two

I went to High School with Howard Thompkins and Al-Farouq Aminu and Tanner Smith.

Nastiest high school bball play I ever saw was when we played Dunwoody though. They had 2 kids who went to FSU I think one was a 5 star. Threw a double alley oop that I swear would have been the #1 play on a sportscenter top 10 any day of the year if there had been a video of it. To this day I've never seen a basketball play like it.

Didn't see any great football players in High School, but I did see Caleb King sit over in our stands when we played GAC. His leg was broken he looked like an absolute man child though.

football - "Z" Walden - played at G Southern. Greatest high school feat I ever saw was him in our opening game our sr year in the Ga Dome. Ran for over 300 yards in hiking boots(couldn't afford turf shoes). Kid could fly. He won the 100 in Georgia our sr year too.

basketball - Sharif Abdur Rahim, DA Layne

baseball - Corey Patterson, Marlon Byrd, Jeff Keppinger, Adam Everett, Kyle Farnsworth, Blaine Boyer, Jeremy Hermida..... East Cobb Baseball puts out a ton of pro's. LINK
