Even the players wanted the game to end quickly to get away from that damn airhorn that was being blown over and over....

This! Don't be surprised if this is banned by the state next season.

I wish the rule would be whatever you wear to bat, you have to keep with you while running the bases.

Having to call time to switch out 80% of your equipment after every hit seems silly to me.

NFHS is actually considering implementing this rule. Not sure it'll pass, but I'm all for it.

Sam Houston is the most impressive team I've seen so far this year. I've been behind the plate for two of their games(1 win and 1 loss).

For me it was Benton. Had them for two games, one on the dish and another in the field. They are solid, well coached, and play fundamental, team-first baseball. Pitchers worked fast and stayed in the zone. Hitters were up there looking to hit.

I'm not surprised by that. I haven't seen them this year, but I had them for a playoff series last year and I know they returned a lot from that team.

Barbe might split with Sulphur, may even split with Southside but no shot splitting with Sam Houston, no way. Sam Houston is going to drag Barbe, twice. Mark. My. Words.

Sam Houston is the most impressive team I've seen so far this year. I've been behind the plate for two of their games(1 win and 1 loss). They're deep in pitching and there aren't any holes in their lineup. No clue on Barbe as I haven't seen them at all, but SH is definitely one of the teams to beat.

The best looking player on that team was #13.

That’s Braylon Calais and he’s only a sophomore. Will be a big time recruit in a couple of years.

Why does LSU run the RPO now when everyone knows Garrett Nussmeier is not going to run the ball? Obviously with Jayden Daniels the threat was real. Shouldn't we run something that optimizing our offensive production. Just my thoughts!!!

A lot of people think that any time the QB hands the ball off out of the shotgun, it's a zone read. Watch the blocking schemes. The vast majority of LSU's shotgun runs are blocked as normal running plays and not as zone reads.

It’s 10-10 in the 9th. Really going out on a limb with that prediction.

Looking forward to the series me and my crew are umpiring this round.

What association are you with? I'm a Lafayette guy and I'm excited about my matchup as well.

I read the first few comments and thought it was going to be a video with some bad stuff. Nothing to it.

Agreed. Reading the comments, you'd swear he choked the kid. Grabbing a kid by his jersey is whole lot of nothing.

CHS vs HC so of course I’m gonna bitch about a call…

none out, 1st and 2nd for us, it’s a grounder to the pitcher. They try to turn two and umps call interference on us. What doesn’t make sense is the runner we thought went to third got brought back to second… he’s at a base a trailing runner was forced to

We did score 1 run but it took away a possible crooked number in the 1st

Sounds like you just don't understand the penalty for offensive interference. All runners have to return to the base occupied at the time of pitch. They got it right.

Hopefully we get rain delay after 3rd or 4th and burn their #2. Favors us greatly going to a by committee approach IMO.

So you’re in favor of burning Floyd in that situation? That situation would favor Wake big time.

Baylor's defense carried them to a victory in the Big 12 title game. The offense played poorly against an ok OSU defense.

Pretty obvious you haven’t watched a ton of football outside of LSU. OSU’s DC is a finalist for the Broyle’s Award this year and Baylor was without its starting QB. I’m not surprised that they didn’t generate a ton of offense today. Grimes is a solid OC and I’d take him in a heartbeat.

I hope Louisiana doesn't come out dressed like Japan or other international team.

Louisiana is going to have the same orange/yellow combo that the Eastbank team from LA had last LLWS.

Louisiana coach sounds confident. Says they have seen pitchers as good as Weir. Then almost insinuates, while talking about the pitchers they have faced, that they have seen better. I hope he is right

He agrees with you on the South Lake Charles ace.

I umpired the Louisiana LL State Tournament. Kid from South Lake Charles is the real deal.

Cecilia would have had Jamacian Dartez at RB around that time.

That would be correct. Jamaican was a bad man in his own right. He came in from his FS spot to put the hit on Harris.

Joe Harris is it. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure he never played college football.

He had a very bad knee injury in the semi-final game against Cecilia. Also, heard he scored a 9 on his ACT.

Independence was up 14-0 against Cecilia and Harris was absolutely dominating that game. He suffered a pretty gruesome leg injury and Cecilia went on to win something like 42-14.

Clay Jensen would be in the system in real life, so would Alex and Jessica. The fact that everyone got away smelling like a bed of roses is a microcosm of why today's youth is so screwed up. They expect zero consequences for their actions/failings.

Clay Jensen did the following:

- Vandalized school property
- Stole a firearm off a police officer and taunted a group of them with it
- Escaped from a hospital while still in police/state custody
- Beat a teenager to a pulp with his bare hands at a party after sleeping with his girlfriend (the chief's daughter)
- Drove drunk and flipped Zach's car, severely injuring Zach in the process
- Helped instigate a riot, assaulted police officers, and blew up the school principal's car
- Went into a police station and announced he had a gun and was ready to use it

And that's just what he did in the final season. It's not even including him covering up the murder of Bryce Walker or Tyler's attempted mass shooting of the school at the end of season two. Every single one of these offenses is potentially a felony and a misdemeanor at the very least. He wasn't charged or punished for any of it. I don't know about the rest of you, but all of these are telltale warning signs of a professional criminal in the making. I would have at least thrown his arse behind bars for a week or two to cool him off and give him a chance to re-think the path he had put himself on.

And even after all this, he still got into Brown(Ivy League). :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

If scouts even remotely believed that his 4.28 was legit, he would’ve been drafted by now.
