The SEC office does not seem to care for the RRS judging by their media alone. Perhaps it is a fear of Texas getting too big or jealousy, but it has lost its luster.

Neither school has won a natty in over 20 years. A lot of the kids playing weren't even alive then. They are good and get views, but one of them needs to do something impressive.

The UGA Bama loser isn’t the playoff lock many are suggesting. UGA has a harder time making it with a loss than Alabama but the loser will still have some pretty good teams yet to play. Unlikely but UGA could lose 2 of Florida, Ole Miss Missouri and even Auburn. It be pretty shocking but it could happen. Outside of Tennessee I’m not sure who Alabama has left other than Auburn.

UGA Bama will have more TVs tuned in because it’s the marquis matchup at night when every TV in every bar and restaurant in the country is tuned in for ambience. Not sure how many people will be watching the endless stream of insurance and Dr Pepper commercials but the TV will be tuned in. On top of that Oklahoma sucks….a good many of their less than rabid fans will probably not watch and there is a lot of CFB at 330 to pull viewers and TVs in bars away.

Although it is the second most intriguing game in the SEC this weekend, going head to head against UGA-Bama will hurt the viewership.

Now, a lot of UGA fans may flip over to that game when Bama starts spankin’ that arse!
