Only teams we have played every season since 1985 are LSU, Auburn, Tennessee and Mississippi State, with LSU having the extra one for 2011.

Is odd you guys haven't played Tenn in an SECCG. I know lately they've been bad, but 80's 90's.

Well it didn't exist until 1992, obviously. And, the only times we've both been good (mostly the early 90's) at the same time, Tennessee couldn't get past Florida in the East. Then, in the late 90s and early 2000s, we mostly sucked. Then we got great and they started to suck.

It's pretty nuts that last season is the first time Alabama/Tennessee, Georgia/Auburn or LSU/Florida have played eachother in the SECCG.

- Alabama, Auburn or LSU have represented the West in 22 of the 26 SECCG

- Florida, Georgia or Tennessee have represented the West in 23 of the 26 SECCG

And yet, last year is the first time any of the 3 permanent rivalry games got repeated in Atlanta.

SEC teams?

All of them. Auburn is closest at 3 games back.

Any opponent with at least 4 games? All but 2-2 vs ND.

Born in 1969.

LSU has a winning record against:

Arky 16-10
Auburn 20-14
Kentucky 27-11
Ole Miss 32-16-1
Miss. State 35-14
So. Carolina 11-1-1
Tennessee (surprisingly) 9-8-1 (before I was born, we were like 2-20 against them)
A&M 15-9
Vandy 11-1

Tied with:

Mizzou 1-1 (just 2 games since I was born, one was the 78 Liberty Bowl, the other was the first appearance of O as head coach)

Losing to:

Alabama 17-32-1 (keep in mind that for my lifetime, Bear Bryant was coach for 14 of those games and Nick Saban for 12, I think we were 2-12 against Bear in my lifetime and are 3-9 against Nick)
Florida 20-25-2 (amazing it's this close when you consider we beat Spurrier once)
Georgia 7-9

Other opponents of note:

Colorado 4-1
FSU 1-7 (yikes, of course all of those were against Bowden in his prime)
Nebraska 0-5 (I don't apologize for these. They were a juggernaut every time we played them, and the games were usually battles.)
Notre Dame 5-7 (should be better save for the last two bowl losses that should have been wins)
Rice 15-1-1 (we used to play them almost every year in the 70s)
Tulane 28-4 (I can't tell you much about the wins, but I can tell you every loss: 73, 79, 81 (I was at this miserable rainy one), and 82)

Since 1985, South Carolina has a winning record against Kentucky, Mississippi State, Mizzou and Vanderbilt and a losing record against every other SEC team.

What's crazy about that is that means LSU is still 12-11-1 against the rest.

Auburn/Florida played in the 2000 SECCG. We were still annual opponents then (and should've remained so).

Thank you!

I thought we were counting SEC teams. Why mention aTm and Missouri.

Without them it’s everybody but Bama!

81 (I was at this miserable rainy one)

Rain didn't factor in the outcome of the game, but...it was MISERABLE. Tigers lost the game 7-48 in what was probably the worst effort by an LSU team ever, surely in my lifetime. One of the rare highlights in that game was when Bill Elko intercepted McKay deep in LSU territory late in the 1st quarter (LSU trailed already 0-14). An indication of the complete dominance of the Wave was when they drove 97 yards (in 9 1/2 minutes of the 2nd quarter) and kicked a chip shot FG to go up 0-20 at the half. And the game just got much, much worse in the 2nd half!
