I seem to remember putting a 5th down right after that, LOL.

1965 or 1966 UK loss to Texas Western at Cole Field House University of Maryland in National championship game. Rupp's Runts.

These are just off the top of my head with LSU during my fanhood.
1994 Auburn (Interception Game)
1997 Ole Miss (Beat #1 Florida the week before. Big let down game.)
1998 Georgia (One freaking point and we went into a downward spiral after of similar heart ache the rest of the year.)
2002 Arkansas (Miracle at Markham or whatever you Hogs call it. Cost us the SEC West)
2004 Auburn (The leaping game. First loss after your first Natty experiene is a tough one to swallow.)
2005 Tennessee (The first ever Les Miles loss. Blew a lead.)
2006 Auburn (The PI game. Cost us the SEC West and possibly more.)
2007 Arkansas (I thought our hopes were dashed. Still won the Natty.)
2008 Alabama (We wanted this one BAD. Saban's Tiger Stadium return. Lost in OT.)
2011 BCS Championship (It took us 8 years to recover from that.)
2012 Alabama (Gut wrenching loss that truly started the streak.)
2014 Alabama (This is the one that basically broke me and got to me where I still never expect to beat Bama.)
2015 Alabama (We were #2 in the country and Fournette was the Heisman favorite...until this game. LSU football died for awhile on this night.)
2018 Texas A&M (LSU won this game like 4 times. This is what started the monster that was the 2019 LSU Tigers.
2020 Missouri (This is when I truly realized we were screwed.)
None of the losses from 2016-2017 qualify since I was wanting Miles fired so badly and I was willing to give O some time.
Nothing from 2021 qualifies since it got rid of O.

Consider LSU
1959 Tennessee - cost Tigers a second consecutive NC
1960 Sugar Bowl - Ole Miss
1961 Rice - perhaps Dietzel's best team - loss cost possible NC
1969 - Ole Miss - Tigers' only loss. Cost them opportunity to play Longhorns for NC in Cotton Bowl

The 1969 Arkansas, Texas game. President Nixon was in attendance. Number one vs. number two, last game before integration. 50 million watched Arkansas give up a 14-0 lead after Frank Broyles refused a FG instead went for it then intercepted. Texas roars back in the fourth quarter and won 15-14. Nixon gave the national title to Texas. Frank Broyles and Arkansas football hasn't recovered from that game since.

Football 2003, 2004, 2008 national championship. 2015, 2017,2018,2019 playoffs. Pick one.

Arkansas football hasn't recovered from that game. It led Frank Broyles to an earlier retirement, he went to his grave not ever watching film of that game.

I guess that's one good thing about our biggest losses being blowouts, they aren't as painful.

Problem is they were never ahead of Bama in the polls.

I wonder if the Cotton still would've invited ND first (that was the first season the Irish elected to play in a bowl since 1924).

And the game of the century in 69 vs Texas.

I can’t fathom how UGA fans felt when Jalen came in for Tua and led a comeback in 2018 after Tua came in for Jalen and led a comeback in 2017

Would've been interesting if Arkansas holds on in 98.
1. Do they still lose to Moo St the very next week?
2. Regardless, a rematch in Atlanta with the Vols would've happened. Does the winner go to the Fiesta Bowl?
