2011 was the product of great recruiting classes in 2009 and 2010 - not by the number of stars but by how the players turned out (Mathieu, Claiborne were 3 stars, e.g.).
2013 is being compared to 2009, and 2014 is setting up to be one of the best classes in LSU history. LSU is loading up again right now. Expect to see dividends paid by 2014-15.

...LSU, Georgia, A&M, Auburn, State, Ole Miss, Tennessee are all very capable to beat Bama. LSU is the conference team to beat next season. Florida and Auburn at home. That LSU-UGA game will be a good one. If Mett can play all season like he did against Bama last year, LSU will be tough. I liked Bama opening up the conference season against Arkansas. Opening up with A&M will be tough. I like the two off weeks though. Op's fishing for LSU & AU fans on this one. Well done

LSU, Bama, and UF have all been on top of the SEC recently and will always have a better shot at doing great things than any other school in the SEC.
