Care to make your argument for how in all the time lsu has been in the SEC, lsu has yet to reach bama's status.

Why not florida?
A solid choice. They've been there before under spurrier. They could get there again. Not sure it will be under boom though.

It's you piglets that have problems.
Trying so hard to flame LSU, while not wanting to be rivals at the same time.

I agree that LSU has missed out on some opportunites...When Chavis is gone...nobody will be there to carry the team

Well, for quite a while the obvious answer was Florida.
Personally, I like the answer in my sig. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.
But Florida is still a mighty fine spot to place your marker. Huge state (population wise), tons of resources and we've already seen what they are capable of.
Aggie could be the next Florida but I'll believe it when I see it. One Johnny Football maketh not a program capable of multiple crystal balls.

It would appear no lsu argument is forthcoming. All they can do is belly ache that they weren't named bama's successor

Bad luck. 2005 & 2006 teams easily had the talent to be national champions, just hit some speed bumps they couldn't overcome. 2011 was maybe the best regular season in SEC history, and ran into a buzz saw. Even the 2012 team was about 90 seconds away from Atlanta.
You have a pathetic obsession for LSU.

The bama fall from grace is sure to happen sooner rather than later. Which SEC team will take their place?
I don't know. A lot can change in 15 years.
