The modern era of college football began in 1995 when the magic was reborn.
That is all.

Which SEC team gets the 3rd BCS (dumbf***s) Crystal Ball first ?
To answer THIS question.. prolly Lsu. Only one to go, vs two for Bama, and they're in better shape than Fla at this point.

Boom!
There are some stupid mother frickers in here. Pimp is not one of them, but it was a poorly worded subject on his part if he meant BCS.

Title has been changed for those that dropped out before the 10th grade

Florida's first on the list. Not sure what is so difficult about this. We just have to take comfort in our 16 overall National Titles.

I dont have a pic of it, but Ive seen it.
Just a hunch, but I'll bet the 1992 crystal football didn't do a tour of Walmarts throughout Alabama.
The crystal football may have existed from 1986 to 1998 but it didn't really become "the prize" until the BCS gave us the closest thing Division I has ever had to a Super Bowl type game.
I was on the college football Internets way back in the mid 90s and don't recall anyone bragging about crystal footballs prior to 1998. Gator fans were EXTREMELY boastful back then when VisorBoy ruled the galaxy and I don't remember any boasting about their crystal football from 1996.
So it existed, but the crystal football didn't carry nearly the aura that it does now in the BCS era.

Since UF has 3 UPI trophies (Crystal Footballs), one would assume that the original question was about BCS.
Now if you are talking UPI titles since 1986, then it is
UF (3)
LSU (2)
UAT (2)
Now if we want to get exact answer it would technically be NO-ONE since, it is a Crystal Football.
The Coaches’ Trophy and the image of the Crystal Football are trademarks of the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA). The AFCA is the copyright owner of the Coaches' Trophy.
based on all the rumors started on BOL, Bama has multiple Crystal Balls.

Okay, seriously.
Right now to me the obvious answer is LSU, unless Florida has made a miraculous recovery on all fronts since last season, or Bama goes on an absolute tear- a pretty big feat with such a giant question mark at QB.
I happen to be of the opinion that this season, Bama actually has more question marks at the QB position than we do, for a change. It is very tough to find another Greg McElroy. Ask us about replacing Matt Mauck.....

Me too. And it's probably because 99% of folks online then, spent 2 hrs downloading a 33k porn pic and didn' have time to talk sports.
