My guess is most (if not all) Mizzou fans have ever been to the Redneck Riviera and think as you pointed out that FL is Orlando and Miami. SEC Media Day's in Destin is not there by accident.
And my guess is most SEC fans have never been to Missouri outside of STL/KC and yet that doesn't ever stop folks from talking out their arse about MO.

I used to live in Arkansas and have friends and family in Missouri. Been to the big cities (not southern) and the boot (southern) and the rest of the state seems more "meh". Branson is fun for some, just not my cup of tea.

Definitely Georgia…they’re a liberal beta state now…pathetic representation of the south.

I call bullshite. How can we go somewhere that doesn't exist?
Stop perpetuating the lies. Missouri is not a real place and you all know it in your hearts.

Georgia is pathetic. Completely taken over by Yankees and libs.

I’ll answer with a question…
Does anyone, from any school, ever regret Tenne-frucking-ssee losing to anyone, in any sport, any year, by any amount?
I think we have a winner, winner, chicken dinner.

Thank you for excluding Missouri. This thread reads like a "Who is not pure (inbred) enough to be SEC?" and we have guys trying to prove we are pure (inbred) enough to be in the mix. We came for the football, not to frick our sisters (looking at you Arky).

I have to go with Louisiana because it's the only SEC state that seems to consistently have Democrat governors. Most of the SEC is Conservative, except for y'all.

They are definitely better educated and much more sophisticated

IMO, Louisiana and Texas.
The Louisiana fans are toxic to everyone (albeit, in an endearing fashion), and the Texas fans have way too much ego and are annoying as hell (this applies equally to Texas and Texas A&M fans).

Northern KY may be Bengals and Reds but still lots of BBN there. Rest of the state is solid BBN.
Northern KY is adamantly BBN and makes sure you know it.
ETA: makes sure Ohio knows it.

Have you ever been to the state?
I think a better question might be have you ever been to Missouri? A majority of the state is part of the same region where Fayetteville lies:
It's really just the western and northern edge of the state that would feel entirely unsouthern to you. I can assure you as a Kansas City resident that this city bears more similarities with western states than the south. But it's a ridiculous argument to me that Florida of all places in today's age is more culturally aligned with the core of the south than Missouri. Sure, the Florida panhandle might as well be part of Alabama or Georgia, but once you get to Orlando it feels nothing like the Deep South. It feels more like a mix of Cuba and a retirement community than Birmingham as you creep further south.

Louisiana. Not even close. Anything else is the wrong answer.
I beg to differ!
Since the first river boats loaded with bourbon in the 1700's hit the port of NOLA there has been a love of booze and food between at least LA and KY. LA has cajuns and KY has hill folk. Pretty similar folks and they are often related and have similar lifestyles.
