Which SEC school’s players have the highest average NFL salary?

I thought it would be interesting to do some research into which SEC school’s current NFL players are paid the most on average.
The value I chose as the school-wide average is the “Average Salary per Year” for each player. I think this gives us the best idea. I was initially going to do the “2018 Cash Value,” but these numbers can be somewhat skewed due to back loaded deals.
The last list is just a combined value of their guaranteed money… of course we are talking NFL, so take the “guaranteed” portion with a grain of salt.
First, let’s take a look at the average from the top 5 players from each school (Avg. Salary per Year)
Average Yearly Salary of the Top 5 Players from Each School
**Current contract
1. Georgia: $16,481,367
2. Texas A&M: $14,053,946
3. LSU: $12,722,000
4. Alabama: $12,320,000
5. Mississippi St: $11,370,000 (was $10,556,667 before new contract)
6. South Carolina: $10,926,150
7. Florida: $9,635,465
8. Tennessee: $9,420,000
9. Auburn: $8,038,133
10. Kentucky: $7,570,000
11. Ole Miss: $6,462,883
12. Missouri: $6,300,000
13. Vanderbilt: $3,882,920
14. Arkansas: $2,608,022
Stafford plays a huge role for UGA here with his 27 mil per year deal. If we removed Stafford, and averaged out the next 5 guys, UGA would still be sitting nicely at $13,214,447.
Now let’s look at the total average salary per year of each player from each school
Player’s Average Yearly Salary
**Current contract
1. Kentucky: $5,041,262
2. Georgia: $4,346,681
3. South Carolina: $3,762,966
4. Texas A&M: $3,558,912
5. Mississippi St: $3,427,497 (was $3,043,761 before new contract)
6. LSU: $3,125,771
7. Alabama: $3,056,823
8. Florida: $2,634,540
9. Tennessee: $2,628,698
10. Missouri: $2,372,704
11. Ole Miss: $2,115,007
12. Auburn: $2,082,474
13. Vanderbilt: $1,880,156
14. Arkansas: $1,067,268
Kentucky is the surprise here with 7 of their 11 players (that have contract details) earning more than 2 mil per year
Now, let’s look at the total money guaranteed for every player; broken down by school
Total Combined Guaranteed Money
**Current contract
1. Alabama: $367,773,173
2. Georgia: $345,375,599
3. LSU: $335,166,524
4. Texas A&M: $259,902,802
5. Florida: $222,389,298
6. South Carolina: $190,270,396
7. Mississippi St: $164,233,735 (was $147,123,785 before new contract)
8. Tennessee: $163,068,978
9. Auburn: $108,410,079
10. Ole Miss: $86,260,073
11. Kentucky: $75,424,676
12. Missouri: $59,732,471
13. Vanderbilt: $30,886,833
14. Arkansas: $26,137,825
Reference: Spotrac and OverTheCap
*EDIT*
Added Benardrick McKinney's contract extension for Mississippi St which was signed on 6/14. This moved them up a couple of notches in each category.
A few people asked, so I obliged... not because I agree with doing this though.
Average per year salary of the 2nd-6th highest paid players for each school
**Removed the highest paid for everyone
1. Georgia: $13,214,447
2. LSU: $11,918,667
3. Texas A&M: $11,603,946
4. Alabama: $10,925,000
5. Mississippi St: $9,136,667
6. South Carolina: $8,786,150
7. Florida: $8,688,193
8. Tennessee: $7,400,000
9. Kentucky: $6,370,000
10. Ole Miss: $5,078,810
11. Missouri: $4,955,945
12. Auburn: $4,294,068
13. Arkansas: $2,118,022
14. Vanderbilt: $1,771,165
It honestly looks nearly identical. The only difference is Auburn due to Cam's contract. Again, I don't agree with this method, but since it was a quick pull I did it.

Georgia, with Stafford (based on average per year under current contract).
Then Cam Newton, then.... Ryan Tannehill.
Von Miller is the highest paid non-QB. (again, based on Avg per year under current contract)

that doesn't make since NFLU fans have said their players make the most.
It's kind of misleading too because you getting the averages but LsU, Bama, and Florida have more players than say a Kentucky.

Id be interested in seeing the numbers only in relation to post initial rookie contracts if possible.
Also, do any of the sources show combined income to include beyond NFL contracts.
Good stuff though

Good breakdown. State's should increase significantly next year when Dak signs his new contract for around $25 million a year for 5 years. Hopefully, anyway. Certainly no guarantees a full year away.
