Which SEC school has the most students who are really fans of another SEC team?

This is a good debate for people who have went to these schools and grew up in these states knowing how people are. I think a good % of Aggie students grew up UT fans but for whatever reason did not go there and ended up in college station. The same could be said with Auburn and Georgia.
I could see this being true to a lesser extent with LSU & Ole Miss. there’s a shite ton of Texas and Georgia kids there who came to LSU as their safety school. This factor makes rivalries way more fun with family and friends.

UGA is like 88% in-state, and Ga Tech has sucked for years so as a whole I think the answer is either Auburn, or Vandy (do vandy students really care about sports tho?)

You think there’s a lot of Ga Tech fans that end up at UGA? Not picking up what you’re putting down here. My understanding is that UGA has gotten comparatively difficult to get into from out of state given the hope scholarship. I’d think those in state kids are UGA fans.

None of the big state schools are home to lots of fans from other schools.
Vandy is my guess because you don’t grow up rooting athletically for academic institutions.

With UGA/AU I mean a ton of kids grew up in Georgia as dawgs fans but ended up going to school at Auburn therefore are they still closest dawgs fans or do they turn their back on the dawgs and go full war eagle?

I have always heard that OM was like 50% out of state students.
I know i met a TON of rejects from Texas and GA that couldnt get into Texas/UGA.
But they all end up being OM fans in the end.

Vandy has the greatest percentage of foreign students of any SEC school. They aren't fans of any other school either

That is correct! In Texas people dream to come to UT. Even the Aggie Savior, Johnny Football, had a Longhorn tattoo, but we didn't offer him.

It’s Auburn and they are Bama fans. They pull out their Crimson when they lose in the Iron Bowl
