LSU has the most national championships and the most culture than any other school in the conference.

Plus...people love us....and they love to hate us.

UF

Has won multiple titles in football and basketball recently and is competitive in baseball. I'd say they have contributed more than any other in the last 15 years or so for sure. I'm not enough of a sports history expert to say who has contributed more since the beginning of the SEC.

LSU and it's not even remotely close. If you disagree, I will be mad.

Texas for setting in motion the events that led Mizzou to join.

The sum of the Big 6 is greater than the whole (little 8 dragging us down).

I disagree with this, when looking at the all around picture, every school brings at least one thing to the table.

I think UF and UGA are the most well-rounded SEC schools when you are talking academics/athletics. Also hard to beat athens, ga as a city, Gainesville.....meh.

I wouldn't say that. Arkansas has the second most national championships in the conference, and by far the most when you just look at mens. We also have the wealthiest alumni that have graduated from our school. Our academics are about average, with a few bright spots (similar to most other SEC schools). In regards to culture, however, we really haven't contributed much in terms of the typical southern gentleman stereotype.

That being said, we have definitely held our own overall.

Btw I would put Florida at number 1. While their culture is different than most of the SEC, their overall strong athletic program as well as academics push them above most everyone else.

As a whole? Sports (all sports, both within the conference as well as nationally), academics, national/world recognition, famous graduates, opinion of campus, opinion of people, culture contributions, etc. I think I have my answer but I'm curious what others think.
I would say LSU, but I'm biased. Outstanding football, baseball, and track programs. Basketball has been very good at times, too.

Academics... well, they have their strengths.

Alumni like Shaq and Hubert Humphry... the vice president of the United States under LBJ.

Campus? People? Culture contributions? I don't even know how to answer those.

Each have their strengths. Either LSU, Bama or UF....
