rebuilding year

It ended with a loss to Georgia last year.

If you mean this year, I'll let you know after Saturday.

Give it up man, why does it mean so much to you? 2019 LSU had an all time season.

But in no universe was 2019 Bama as immortal as you like to think they were

I don’t recall anyone calling Bama’s 2019 team the best one ever. That’s almost impossible to imagine, as 4 of our front 7 starters by the time November came around were freshmen, and Tua was hobbled in the middle of October. Shane Lee, who started in 2019 ended up being 3rd on the depth chart the next year.

Is this still 2019? Gosh... when does the new decade start? Are you sure it's not 1979 or 1925 or something? I just find it odd that 2019 has lasted 45 months. I guess if CFB started in 2000, it could have ended in 2019. That makes sense, so carry on...

In fairness losing to LSU is embarrassing and rare and not something we are used to so it can make you say crazy things.

Not sure if 'rare' is the adjective you were looking for. Considering since I've been watching college football (1984ish), Alabama's record vs LSU is 23-15-1. While you do hold a significant edge in the overall series, rare isn't correct when saying victories for LSU at least for anyone that has followed either team since the mid 1980's.

Keep up - this thread is about Saban’s Bama teams. Nobody gives a shite how long you’ve been watching football. He’s 12-4 against LSU and 10 for the last 11. Saban’s Bama teams have absolutely owned LSU so rare is the exact adjective I was looking for.

2013 because of kick six and losing to OU

2014 because of Blake Sims was TO machine against OSU

2010 because three losses and one to Scam Newton

That team wasn’t very talented in the backfield

Mark Ingram
Trent Richardson (who was possibly the best of the three at Alabama)
Eddie Lacy

2010 was probably the most stacked backfield we've ever had

‘07, ‘18, ‘10, ‘19 in that order. ‘18 was great statistically, but the way the defense fell apart against Clemson in the NC made them second worst imo…worst Bama loss by a long shot (hurt worse than the ULM loss) ‘19 wasn’t even bad…just bad luck with injuries.

Hell that team last year had a very sub par Oline, and defense that was erratic. Saban’s best coaching jobs to me are with teams that aren’t the most talented

Your premise makes no sense. Bama was loaded in 2019.

Not on defense. The 2019 season was the first time BAMA lost two regular season games since 2010.

Loaded with injuries at starters in the LB corp and QB. Tua was 100% for about 5 games

Owned would be 16-0 right? Yea, nah, rare would be Miss State 1-15.
