I have lived in both Louisiana and Alabama for extended periods of time and they are similar. Mississippi would be the worst

This is like asking what terrible disease is the worst. I am going with Mississippi, just because it is further from civilization than the other two.
My brother has lived multiple years in all 3 states. He said Alabama was the best, but he also lived in Spanish Fort which is actually pretty nice and is right on the coast.
The thing that made Mississippi worse than Louisiana seems to be shopping carts. Apparently people in Mississippi just unload their groceries and drive off. Leaving the shopping carts to roll into your car. Nice.

I’d just like to say Mississippi is the worst. By far. Please, please, please don’t ever visit. Stay out while you can. Go mess up the other states.

Depends on what floats your boat. As a Chemical Engineer I made more money last year than you will make in ten years. If you like bass fishing along with specs, red fish etc. no other state can compare. Now lets talk food. I've been to all 50 states and Florida has terrible food. No other state comes close to Louisiana for quality of food.

Alabama and Louisiana are both ahead of Mississippi. Louisiana has the best seafood in the country. The beaches of Alabama are as good as any and better than most. North Alabama is underrated, and is growing. Huntsville will be the largest city in Alabama in a few years.
Orange beach is better than Myrtle Beach and Hilton Head. New Orleans is better than Charleston. South Carolina is not really any better than Alabama or Louisiana.

Best part of Missouri is named after another state. Kansas City.

That is my strategy too. We don’t want people coming here and messing it up so it is good that we keep up this charade that MS is the worst State. It has worked so far and hopefully it will continue to work.
We definitely don’t want to let the cat out of the bag that we are really the best.

Louisiana has more money than Bama and Mississippi.
Mississippi is the poorest.
Hell, wealth rank Louisiana is 24th. We are wealthier than 26 states.

Why waste time arguing which pig needs the most lipstick? Let’s talk about the finer States of the SEC. Or should I say finest. That would be the Great State of Tennessee. Without a doubt, the friendliness and most beautiful Belle of the Ball. We are more kin to the great Nations of Europe than the Walmart States of the South. We deserve better. Smh
