I like DeBoer. After the Florida State loss I would have never believed Alabama would make it to the playoffs. Most bama fans realize that Nick Saban is the GOAT and DeBoer is not going to be as successful. I really think there was some locker room issues the past several years that caused some real issues for DeBoer last year. It seems those have worked themselves out at this point. I would say that if he has not won the SEV or the CFP by year five then I might start getting restless. Next year will give us a good idea of what his tenure at Alabama will be like. If things are still not clicking on offense then that will raise some concerns.

This team can still beat any team in the country. They also can lose to any team in the country as well.

I would rather see them in the playoffs then not even if winning it all is not likely.

My point simply is Notre Dame's resume is not anymore impressive than Tennessee's.

Tennessee has three losses to Top 10 teams and has won the rest of their games. Notre Dame has two losses to Top 10 teams and has won the rest of their games. Both teams lost every time they played a top tier team. Why should Tennessee be punished for playing more top tier teams than Notre Dame.

Does Tennessee have a legit argument. Not Really. Neither does Notre Dame if you are going by their resume. Notre Dame should be punished for being independent instead of rewarded.

They did last year when they put SMU in over Alabama. They will this year if they get the chance. SEC teams might as well get used to it. Vanderbilt should be ranked over Notre Dame and Tennessee has an argument. Neither team has a "bad loss" which apparently more important than actual wins.

There is a difference between an oath and a covenant. In a covenant it is dependent on two parties, and therefor is null when one party breaks the covenant.

Adidas is smoking them in growth this past year. Nike grew by 40%. Adidas grew by 60%. It is quite possible that Nike hurt themselves and Adidas capitalized on what could have been.

Alabama and Louisiana are both ahead of Mississippi. Louisiana has the best seafood in the country. The beaches of Alabama are as good as any and better than most. North Alabama is underrated, and is growing. Huntsville will be the largest city in Alabama in a few years.

Orange beach is better than Myrtle Beach and Hilton Head. New Orleans is better than Charleston. South Carolina is not really any better than Alabama or Louisiana.

LSU had an opportunity to put it away in the second half and failed to do so. LSU had a perfect first half and all the momentum going into the locker room. They let Alabama stay in it. And come back in the second half. Think you can do that with a good team like Ohio State and win.
