Pretty sure Mike Leach won't survive this month.

A coach that posts racist images vs a coach that is probably already banging half of his recruiting staff.

Should be interesting.

Leech is seeming knida dumb ATM, but the one to be fired is the first to lose to the other twice in a row. My guess is if they both last 3 seasons Lane will put out a consistently better product and Cap'n Mike will be ousted first.

Lane is gay? That’s news.

Not that there’s anything wrong with it.

Very hard to say. I think it’s much easier to predict how Leach will do at state, we have examples of him being in very similar situations (being at one of the non traditional powers in a P5 conference). Freshwater is way more of a boom or bust. So I would bet Kiffin but also think Kiffin is more likely to be very successful.

Why? For not firing Leach? Because that was the alternative. I fail to see how there is any way to be mad about this outcome. Leach gets to appear like he cares about the history of civil rights in the state he is coaching in. Cohen has a defense against future defamation attempts against the school and the football program. Our team loses a player that was transferring anyways and we get to move on.

This was really the only option aside from axing Leach, which would have been a disaster. You can’t just say “frick people’s feelings” as a major university. This isn’t an online forum argument.

State, Leach is sure to have more PR snafus and there won't be enough wins to insulate him.

Neither of them are endearing themselves to their respective teams and fanbases by staying in Florida. Even before the shutdown started, they weren't very visable in the state.

I would be surprise if there is any college football this fall! No one is seeing any improvement so far about the CORVID-19! Might have to wait until next year. Arky will more likely take advantage of the no football this fall if it happens.

Hopefully neither. Both are welcome additions in my book and make the league more interesting. I predict upsets and fireworks.
