Particularly? You mean, as opposed to the one other time tech has won in the 21st century? I don't include any tech win as "most satisfying", because the matchup is not even enough to call it a "rivalry" game. It would be like calling a win over Georgia Southern "most satisfying".

41-0, 2017 vs Coonskin Hats in Knoxville. Seeing that dude boo at halftime with his hand in the feed bag was priceless.

45-7, 2011 and 28-7, 2017 vs the Barn were extra sweet. Aubies thought they were coming to Atlanta to get crowned, only to get beheaded.

Look at that. Tech's blind squirrel actually found two nuts...in 20 years.

Winning on the road is special...

2002 vs. Bama - in Tuscaloosa...with a 4th string RB and a TE playing fullback.

1999 vs. UGA - Ronney Daniels torched the pups that day

1999 vs. LSU - Tubs breaks out the cigars (and we haven't won there since )

1994 vs. Florida - in the Swamp, Nix to Sanders

2004 vs. UT in Knoxville - Cadillac and Ronnie truckin' fools

2013 vs A&M - That game doesn't get talked about much but it set the tone for us to win the SEC

2014 vs. Ole Miss- Absolute slugfest. One of the hardest hitting games I've ever seen.

1969 IB: 49-26. After losing 5 straight, scoring the most points ever on a Bryant team.

1982 IB: Ended 9 year losing streak.

2002 IB: Bammers thought this was a sure win. Kicked their a$$ with a 3rd string RB.

1992 NCG vs Miami. D made their O look like a high school team. I hated Miami for their thuggery.

1992 SECCG vs UF. Langham picks Matthews.

2007 vs UT. Because frick Fulmer, that's why.

2008 vs UGA. The "Blackout" game. The game that put BAMA back on the national scene.

2008 vs AU. 36-0. Bye bye Wingnut.

2009 SECCG vs UF. Dismantling Urban and Tebow.

2011 vs LSU (1/9/12). 21-0 We broke them.

2012 vs LSU. Yeldon "made a man miss".

2012 SECCG vs UGA. They "ran out of time". Great game.

2014 vs AU. Amazing 2nd half domination.

2015 vs LSU. Defense broke LF.

2015 vs Clemson. Great game. Clemson/Alabama has a "rivalry" of sorts currently.

2017 NCG vs UGA. 2nd and 26.

2018 SECCG vs UGA. Jalen makes it right.

So your most satisfying rivalry wins are when your rivals suck?

- 1996 was Bebes last regular season game and we won on a last minute drive to win the SEC West (and was a good Auburn team)

- 1999 was the first win in Auburn and clinched a trip to the SEC Title game

- 2001 was the most out of the blue win and beatdown of an Iron Bowl in my recent lifetime (and was a good Auburn team at the time before we helped start the collapse)

- 2005 Tennessee was the Fulmer stuff and a game winning field goal and the fumble in the end zone all wrapped into 1

- 2008 Auburn was a 36 point beat down that broke the streak and finished an undefeated regular season

- 2008 Tennessee we had 35K fans take over Neyland and put the stake in Fulmer's heart (2009 was a mistake, that game was not satisfying at all I was glad it ended and we won)

So, yea, all those games individually meant a whole helluva lot and were incredibly satisfying.

I mean technically I guess 2007, 2015 and 2016 Tennessee teams were better than 2005 or 2008 but only 2007 would come close in terms of satisfaction.

That was a great game, but AU was coming off a gutwrenching 4-OT marathon loss to UGa that took us out of contention for the West. Plus it was the typical Bowden team in terms of talent distribution - i.e., a lot of 3- and 4-stars in the skill positions, and 1- and 2-stars in the trenches (it still amazes me how poorly AU used to recruit compared to recent years). Yeah, that was a decent team, but they lost to every team they played that year with a pulse.

Hands down the largest talent discrepancy between the two teams in the last 40 years. It's a miracle we were even competitive in that game, a real tribute to the incompetence of the Bama coaching staff (save possibly for Dabo).

That beatdown was out of the blue, alright, but to call that a "good" Auburn team is a huge stretch. Granted, we were in the driver's seat for the West title coming in, but we'd already been blown out by Syracuse, needed last-second FGs to beat 2-9 Vandy and 3-8 MSU, and were taken to overtime by LA Tech before getting hammered 42-17 by a mediocre Arky squad. Our only claims to respectability were the miracle win over then #1 and apparently invincible Florida and a DSOR where Richt went brain dead with a chance to tie in the final seconds and called a running play from the 3 yard line with 20 seconds and no time outs (karma for Dye losing the same way in '92). We very realistically could have been 2-7 coming into the Iron Bowl instead of 7-2. In short, the 2001 Auburn team was living a lie, and when Caddy went down with an injury in the first quarter the end result was inevitable.

I think everyone in the state could see this one coming.

Haha this wasn't a list of greatest wins in terms of accomplishment but ones that were most satisfying.

All those reasons I gave were why personally they were the most satisfying and fun wins.

The win over LSU in 14 with Dak was cathartic. The win over AU at home that same year was special.

1. 2006 VS. Auburn. They were top-5, and we were mediocre. Still beat the (dog) crap out of them in their yard.

2. 2007 VS. Auburn. The first time we ever wore black.

3. 2017 VS. Tennessee. Gave them their worst beating at home since 1905.

4. 2017 VS. Florida. Would have been better if it had been 42-0, but after all those years of losing, I was very happy with 42-7.

5. 2009 VS. GT. As previously stated, they had the better team that night, but choked. UGA ran the same 4-5 running plays over and over and beat them at their own game....running the ball.

Honorable mention....Beating a #2 ranked Clemson at home on a Butler FG of 60 yards in 1984...back when Clemson was a big UGA rival.

2006 Auburn is an underrated answer for UGA. Blasted them at JH and they were nationally relevant.
