Which fans on the Rant are the dumbest?

SEC SAT's
I am sure none of you are surprised but 'bama has the lowest SAT scores with LoSerU a very close second. It could also be Miss. State since they did not report. They may not have had anyone working there that could figure out how to send in the report.

I'm not sure about overall intelligence but the vast majority of Texas fans are completely football illiterate.

nah standardized test scores are going away soon
They were optional for my class because muh covid
I had a lot of friends get into schools with ACT scores way below the school’s Mid 50 because they chose not to submit them.

I honestly thought they'd already gone away. Between COVID and muh racist tests I was for sure they were already done away with. Guess not yet.

maybe a silly question, but are they mainly just going to look at GPA from now on?
I like the idea of having some kind of entrance test be it ACT or SAT, since you can't really fake your way through that. The fact that so many HS seniors these days have like 4.8 GPAs kinda devalues the whole system

No place I applied accepted the ACT so I signed up for it so I could ditch class and was hammered the night before. Stopped drinking about 2 hours before the test started and passed out at the end from booze and lack of sleep.
I missed a perfect score by like 1 or 2 points.
To this day still not sure how this happened!

I honesty did too, or at least thought they had been scheduled to be phased out for athletes (as a requirement for NCAA eligibility), for the reasons you mentioned.

I believe they are gone in most west coast schools. I don’t think most SEC will make it another 5 years. It’s ridiculous. I met someone this year at UGA who got a 14 on the ACT.

This.
GPA can be greatly manipulated from student to student and from school to school. Standardized testing, not so much.

We truly live in some sort of bizarro world at this point, and nothing is more tip of the spear in that than higher education.
