If we are just going by the worst of the worst, I think the Big 12 has it.
But I really think the PAC took the biggest hit.

Kansas lost to FCS Nicholls State on Saturday in its season opener, dropping Beaty's record at Kansas to 3-34. Now in his fourth season with the Jayhawks, Beaty has lost more games to FCS opponents (two) than he's won against FBS opponents (one, Texas in 2016). He's gone 1-32 against FBS teams and is 1-26 against the Big 12.

ACC became a very clear one-trick pony.

I read that post comparing Clemson and Alabama schedule.
IF Clemson stumbles, they look to be in really bad shape.

Acc not a close second. They have Clemson that’s it.

ACC.
Clemson won't lose a game outside of maybe Texas A&M. That conference is garbage.

It was the first week. My God you people acting as if we have some huge sample size to determine anything after 1 game.

Kansas St hung on at home over South Dakota.
Baylor gave up 27 to Abilene Christian.
The Illini almost lost to Kent St at home.
Michigan and MSU both looked listless.
Purdue hasn’t taken a step forwards.
Nebraska lost to a storm.

Pac 12 and Big 10 in a tie of monumental ineptitude.
Props to Kansas though for trying.

Look for Big Ten to have a pretty miserable weekend in Week 2

ACC. Texas A&M could send that entire conference into a deep depression by beating Clemson.
That is an excellent point.
If A&M wins that game we could see two P5 conferences eliminated, for all intents and purposes, from the CFP in the first two weeks of the season by SEC teams.
If Alabama has a down year we have a few teams that can carry the load for the SEC. If Clemson goes down then the ACC had best pray that V. Tech goes on a rampage or they are royally hosed.

SEC looks good as per usual, but if State loses in Manhattan and Clemson destroys TAMU (both of which are very possible), perception could flip in a hurry.

The SEC when Tua went off Saturday

Kansas State needed a kickoff return for a touchdown and a missed field goal to beat an FCS team

On paper, it's the Pac 12. But in reality, it was the B1G. Saturday was littered with Big 10 struggle wins.

Vs Bama, UGA, AU, and LSU? The big 12 would go 0-4 in those games

Without Oklahoma and West Virginia, the XII is basically blah at this juncture. Texas is just laughable.

Is LSU #4? I might take State there. Still 3-1 at worst.
