UGA was declared NC by 9 voting services, well more than Ohio State and won the Rose Bowl, the defacto NC game and had the heisman trophy winner.
The AP was not the be all poll in 42, in fact it was only 3 years old. The NCAA does not now nor have they ever awarded or “recognized” a D1 college football championship. They aren’t the authority.

Every Bama fan watches the auburn game. Watching auburn lose is right behind Bama winning. Once again, Bama props aubie up even when we don’t intend to.

Exactly.So much idiocy in the OP and this thread.The "research" only involved regular season games and the 2
highest rated regular season games just
happen to be the 2 biggest rivalries in the sport (Bama/AU,OSU/UM) Hence the reason 3 outta the top 4 are involved in those games.

1. Alabama has won 13 national championships that were awarded by the AP/Coaches/BCS/CFP since 1941 so who the hell cares?
2. Anyone from the Deep South can't make inbreeding jokes about another state in the Deep South. Especially if they're Georgia fans. One of the main plot points in Gone With the Wind - a story set in Georgia - involves two cousins getting married (and everyone being okay with it).
