It's a trick question. Prime Time did what few coaches can do because of ego. He got out of the way, and let his superior athletes run all over TCU. Props to him, by the way, for doing it.

College Football, at many levels, is simply over-coached. At times, Kentucky is over-coached.

Colorado will end the season with a losing record. And the talk of Prime Time will go away. Watch. And more important, admit when it happens.

Back home to Florida.

Would've been a Gator with his best friend CB Richard Fain if UF hadn't gone on probation in 80s.

If not UF....Texas.

I've always been told he chose FSU over both UF and Miami because Bowden was the only coach to promise him that he could start as a true freshman if he was good enough.
He also played baseball in college and FSU had Mike Martin.

His team was very well coached. I don't need all of the noise, but he had those kids studied up and prepared to execute the gamelan against TCU.

The big question: How does he do with 1 week prep in a classic trap game?

I really don't see him being anything more than average as a coach. All this hype is made for TV as a feel good story. He was in a shoot out with a bad TCU team that we all know “played for the national title” tje season before. It sells. He had lots of time to prep, and TCU isnt all that good. And as mentioned, his health is failing. He can barley walk. I see him there for a few years upsettimg a couple of mediocre teams and makimg it to a bowl. Its not like he just beat down Ga. People need to let it play out.

The real question is can he recruit at a SEC level. With all the hype, and 170 million dollar facility, I think he sits at #66. Top talent isn't flooding to him, especially up front.

If he is successful at Colorado? He won 1 game! A decimated TCU team on opening weekend! The media is eating this up, almost like they won the Superbowl. Methinks the season needs to play out before suggesting he's ready for a gig at the premier conference. That being said, it appears that LSU is desperate enough to offer him a deal. Fake Coonass is treading on thin ice.

Where will they find the cash to fire BK?
I'm sure there is a hospital or two, willing to help out.

I’d guess Miss State, they should be open after next season. 4-8 /5-7 this year, lose 19 seniors then 3-9 next year. Arnett won’t be there after that.

If successful enough I could see him giving the NFL a try especially if he wanted to go on that journey with his son.

I saw an interview he did after being hired at CO where he said he will never coach in the NFL. He knows his coaching style won’t translate with 30 year old men.

Mullen didn't last long at UF, nor did boom or shark fricker. Why would Billy be any different?

Mullen and McElwain self fired and muschamp got four years.

Very few people realize how hard that probation hit UF. Florida was on track to be a national power but the probation opened the door for FSU and Miami.
